Polyline and polygon curves are not being drawn as shown.

Hello!

I am trying to get curves to draw when using the polyline and polygon markup tools and they show up like they are going to be drawn as a curve but then when I click along they 'revert' as a straight line.

To clarify, when using either markup tool, I hold 'Ctrl' then click and drag to create the curve/arc that I want (as it shows a curve) but then when I release the click the shown curve turns into a straight line from vertex to vertex.

What am i missing here? I feel like i was able to draw the curves in a previous version. I am using version 21.7. Any insight would be much appreciated! in the screen shot below i was able to get 1 curve to draw, but for the life of me i cannot get it to do it again. I've tried holding various combos of shift+Ctrl+Alt+Win. im lost…

I mentioned this before as it was a problem on the last update as well. It used to be when holding CTRL and pulling a curved line, that it would only input that point and then you would continue the curve with the next point. Now it just reverts it to a straight line as well as automatically putting a second point where your cursor is hovering. I use this command very frequently and will have to revert back to 21.6 again until it's fixed.

Once you're done drawing the straight line shape, single-click on the yellow grip of the corner you want curved. I think because you are clicking and dragging, you are getting mixed results. After you click on it, more grips will appear to help you adjust the curve. Hope that helps.

Hmmm. I am miffed as I am still not understanding. Are you saying to draw the polyline i want with straight lines first, then go to each individual vertex and convert it to a curve?

To clarify, I feel i was once able to draw the curves as I go and not have to go back afterward. I am still seeing some interesting results when holding 'Ctrl' while I click. It seems like i have to release 'Ctrl' after each curve and then depress it again before clicking the next segment. Like when i do this, Revu is visually displaying the curve before i click the next point…so hard to explain. :) i just thought it would have been more simple and i just really was hoping someone has encountered this and figured it out.

Here is a recording of what's happening. Notice how the points are not curve points (those will have 2 points to adjust the tangent lines), but you can see them showing up as the curve is being dragged out. This used to function properly.

Mark up a locked drawing
Several Municipalities are requesting the PDF's be Unlocked so they can mark-up and add their stamps. Much to Engineers sealed drawings, they do not want them unlocked. I tried scanning and sending them, but they are still locked. Can a blank mark-up layer be added before or after password protecting the drawing?

Legend Inconsistency
I am using Bluebeam Version 21.7. I am using icons in my tool box and plotting them on my maps. I then click on those icons, right click and select create Legend. It is sometimes not updating the quantity and retaining the symbol icons. Any help is appreciated.
