Offset command desperately needed!

I'm going to post again about needing an offset command. It's such a basic fundamental tool. And DO NOT reply saying the multiply command works. It is very limited, can only do up/down, left/right. Offset would work perpendicular to lines and shapes of any type and orientation. I hope someone at Bluebeam is listening…

Try drawing a stair stringer by hand to scale. Try drawing an HSS tube to scale.

I use the "Sketch To Scale" tools for those items. After I got used to using them, they are perfect for sketching details or complete components.

Multiply command is good but a true offset command would be very beneficial. The offset command would have to generate offsets from content as well already placed markups. I do a lot of documenting field conditions that do not match the plans so placing objects from datums or confirmed content to the show the engineers where things are located is very important.
