Links to Documents in SharePoint

We have a word document that we link to other documents. When we create a pdf from the word document the links carry through to the pdf. We are moving these files now from our local network to SharePoint. I am working on relinking the files. We copy the link to each file for the hyperlink. When the pdf is created it is also housed in SharePoint. If the pdf is opened in Sharepoint the hyperlinks work. If the pdf is opened in Revu the links do not work. Does anyone know how to make it so this works?

the problem is the link path.
When you create a link to a document on SharePoint, it actually uses the temp file that the document is stored it, so its filepath is linked the user that created it. You can actually see what the filepath is if you go to your Links panel.

You need to ensure that Use Relative Path is checked when you're creating the links.
