I would like to know if there is a way to search throughout a file or set to references a detail on a page? In other words, I want to do a reverse search from a fine detail, all the way up the drawings.
you can do this. This trick comes from the goddess known as @Liz Larsen
What you want to do is put a space between the two different parameters. i.e. if you're looking for 1/A100 you would type in the search bar 1 A100 and then run your search as normal.
This would be handy… I remember when drawing titles used to have that info, but more and more, BIMmers are only concerned with looks. My firm only has a number, not even the sheet number any longer. That sucks when I need to clip a drawing and share it.
