While I do love the ease of the built in browser functionality in Revu, I'm wondering if there is a way to have a link that opens outside of Revu, in an external browser (ie: chrome or edge). I've found several issues with the Revu Browser
- Youtube links only play at low resolution
- Several links that open up in-network links don't work, or don't work correctly (ie: internal sharepoint or microsoft stream videos don't play)
Would be great if there was a way to do this, perhaps with a checkbox to "open hyperlink in external browser". There are currently two ways I know of to connect links in revu:
- using the hyperlink option
- using the "edit action" option and having the action be a hyperlink.
While we're on the subject of hyperlinks/edit actions, I would also like the ability to add in custom paths in the "open" box. For example, I would like to include %USERPROFILE% paths in this option, so that someone could click on the link and it would direct them to a folder with their particular User Name, but that is not currently possible, at least that I know of
