Could someone please look at this file an explain what is stopping me removing or even moving control points?
That's an interesting one @Jamesw! I was able to add other measurements to your file and and adjust them without issue. I can copy your markup and place it again on the document, but cannot modify the copy of the markup. Going to take someone who understands the "behind the scenes" coding to figure this one out I'm afraid.
Curious to understand your workflow and how you chose to measure this entire area with a single markup rather than capture the information with a series of smaller markups. Could you provide some additional information?
Thank you David. I would have approached it differently, but this came from a colleague asking for my help and I’m stuck on it.
Understood on the different approach @Jamesw. I find it interesting to see how others use Revu - and more importantly why they choose to use the tools the way that they do. As a Civil estimator I find a number of smaller markups are easier to manage and edit when the inevitable plan changes arise.
For this one I'd suggest submitting a ticket request direct to Bluebeam or your reseller as it appears that it is going to need someone who can "look under the hood" to figure out what it going on. Keep us posted please on what you find.
I have the same problem, I "cut out" several areas of an "area measurement" and cannot edit the control points (cut or move). This happened after the last update. This is a major problem for me. Is there a work around? Thanks, Gaylon
Revu can be "picky" on what it will allow you to do with control points. For example, if moving or deleting the control point "breaks" the perimeter of the area measurement Revu won't allow you to complete the adjustment. Similarly, Revu won't allow you to cross a previously placed line segment when measuring an area. You might be running into this type of situation @Gaylon.
Hope this helps. 😎
