I want to be able to “edit” the count measurement results, it does separate by page, but on a page with 100 markups if I spot an error I cant just delete the error, I can only delete all the count measurement and start over.
Electric,
You can right click on the error and select "split count". This will split the error from the continuous count mark up and allow you to delete without needing to delete all and start over.

Another option that you should have when you select and then right click your count is "delete "count item" from group". This has then benefit of maintaining the count group - if that is important to your workflow.
Don't forget that you can select multiple counts for this by shift-clicking
