Has Bluebeam only been around since 2002? It feels like I was using it before then.

Digging into this, I think I first started using BB back in 2016 when California's DSA first started talking about requiring electronic submittals only.

I remember mine.
One of our Project Managers had started using it and took note of what it could do. He showed it to a couple of us and we also downloaded the trial.
We were using Planswift at the time and I found Revu to be WAY more intuitive and easier to create tools with. I've been hooked ever since.
I will say, those icons back in Revu 2017 were something though…lol (You can still see them in a few older YouTube videos that are lingering around)

I was first exposed to it when I was interning for an interior designer in 2014-ish, but I wasn't able to actually get my hands on my own license until 2017. The scale/calibration/measurement tools alone totally changed the game for me. I was doing estimation for large projects that took a lot of time, but Revu essentially cut my work in half, and I wasn't even using it to the fullest extent back then! (And like @Doug McLean, I also remember those old icons lol. While I don't miss them, they're pretty nostalgic. 😅)
