BlueBeam Cloud for IOS -- how do I even use this thing?

Hello, I am trying to evaluate this product since I've heard the old BlueBeam for IOS app is being killed off.

I downloaded it from the app store, opened it, and was able to log into it using my org. admin account for the desktop version.

When I use the app, I only see two options "Studio Projects" and "Studio Sessions", both with no projects nor sessions, nor a clear way to create.

How am I supposed to be using this app? Would I be able to open a PDF file in it?

From what I currently understand, this is still a work in progress. You first must be part of a Studio Session (under your .org account) and then you will have very limited markup options to choose from but will be able to view all the pages.

That said, the goal is to make this "web version" as robust as the desktop version. However, they are starting from scratch and have to build functionality into it carefully, so it's taking longer than users like us would like.

It's a shame they killed the iOS version already but there may have been compatibility conflicts that made it necessary.

Thank you for the info. On a PC I can get to BB cloud and atleast connect my OneDrive account open a PDF. I still cannot figure out how to create or share a project. On the BB cloud mobile app, it doesn't seem to have the options to open files.

This is very confusing. I cannot find anything on the website to create a Studio session.

I suspect our company will be moving away from BB. The new cloud version doesn't appear to do anything.

I don't work via mobile so I didn't realize that the app (Android version) didn't have any features other than viewing. It's a shame the web version isn't functional enough to tide you over until it's fully operational.
