I just opened a 500-page pdf and navigated to page 83 using a bookmark. I need to manipulate the page, so I opened the Page Thumbnails palette, but for some reason, the thumbnails are somewhere around page 250. So I have to scroll in thumbnails to get to the page I need.

Please add a "Go To Current Page" button in Thumbnails, and you can also add a page number input field to move thumbnails to a certain page.

@Steven Bunker, I just tested it, and it seems the thumbnail image usually stays aligned with the current page. However, if you navigate away from that thumbnail, I found a workaround to return to the correct one. Simply click the back and forward arrows to bring the thumbnail back in sync with the current page.

I am guessing that the thumbnails would have synced up if you activated page 83 by clicking on it after navigating to it. Could that have been the issue?

My thought is that you had a tool active in page 250ish so that is where thumbnails went.
