I did a quick search here and I was not able to find that this was asked here. But was BB recently updated to have the "repeat last" command? and if not, is there a plan to add this?
Can you please expand on this a bit more? I don't know of any 'commands' in Bluebeam. If you mean reuse the last tool then that is down in your status bar:
this will allow you to reuse the selected markup tool repeatedly without having to re-select it after each use. You then hit ESC to end using it.
I am using Auto CAD lingo here a bit, I apologize.
For me, the "reuse markup tool" has no effect. Tool stays active regardless.
In AutoCAD, after you ESC from a command, you can reactive last used tool with hitting spacebar. So is there a similar option in BlueBeam. After you ESC from a tool, to have an option/hotkey that will reselect the last used tool.
I understood what you meant by command and agree, sometimes you didn't plan to reuse a markup tool so even if you knew about the ' Reuse Markup Tool' feature that @Duane Gingras mentioned (I didn't), you may want to be able to right-click and have the last tool listed for quick access.
And thanks for the tip Duane.
Alright. I just learned that "reuse markup tool" works only for the markups in the toolbox. not line, text, etc. Those are by default "reusable". Like @Luke Shiras said, an option to select the last select tool. Granted hotkeys are useful, but sometimes, you are using a tool that you do not use that often and option to reselect it quickly (like spacebar in Auto CAD) would go long ways.
👆️This, this is why I started learning shortcuts. Even though my tool bars were easy to navigate, the extra time to move my mouse back and forth can add up after a while, especially on larger monitors.
Ah, i see what you mean. I f you use a tool and then go back to cursor you would like a quick way to go back to that last used tool. Short answer is, No.
However you can do the following. if there are tools that you typically use on a regular basis drag then to you 'my tools section' and then you just press the corresponding number on your keyboard. This is an example of my "My Tools"
The little numbers in the top right of each tool is your short cut. These are the tools i use on a daily basis so i just tap a number between 1 and 14 to select any tool. I also move things around in "My Tools" as needed. My full set in "My Tools" is 32 entries, but i regularly only use the top 6 or 7 spots. Press 3 to add a comments, ESC, press 4 to add comment with leader, ESC… and so on. All my typical tools are within reach of my left had.
Not everyone that uses BlueBeam is a power user. I personally have no problems, but I am thinking about other coworkers that do not use it as often and/or are not BB savvy. Is there a way to elevate this question to BB developers?
I am surprised this isn't feature. BB - Please add this asap.
when exporting a table to excel, it turns part of the table into an image with a black rectangle
Now that the option to switch from Markup mode to View mode has been removed from Revu 21, is there a way to lock markups and comments so that you don't accidentally move or shift them while panning around in the file?
How would you remove hyperlinks in a document on a mass scale? Not going to each one and changing it's action, but listing all hyperlinks in one location and removing all in one fell swoop. I've looked thru the markup list to see if there was a way to display a list of all the hyperlinks in the document, but it doesn't…
Hello - When clicking on an established session I have been in before I get the spinning wheel then popup "Your connection to studio has been lost". After clicking OK closing window, it does open the session except it has "disconnected" me. Also does not show that in the Record that I have ever opened the session and any…
Is there any way to change the default from feet and inches to decimal feet? IT is a pain to change it every time I need a dimension. It did not used to be locked into feet and inches.
So , my question is that i'm noticing that the tools in the toolchest will automaticly rearange themselves in a surtain order. I believe only a few updates back this was not the case or a lot less. I could be mistaken as i,m still a relatively new user. Is it not possible to keep your tool in a surtain order and they dont…
I just updated to Revu version 21.7 and the tool that I used to snap dimesnions in length is now very wonky to use. It pulls fom the corner and not the centerline. Is there any way to revert it back to the previous version without abandoning 21.7 altogether?
Is there a Tool set for Audio-Visual? I use Revu for marking up drawing sets for the addition of A/V. I need to add things like data drops, electrical outlets, speakers, microphones, wall mounted monitors, etc. Does something like this exist in Revu? I have looked and cannot find a Audio-Visual specific tools.
Hoping someone can help me, or at least tell me I'm not crazy. I'm creating a stamp that when applied to the target document, will include a list of names that were entered in a dialog box, and then overlay a digital signature field on top of each name. Everything works except that I can't get the size of the stamp to…
Hi everyone, Just updated to the latest version and the "resume sequence" function is not working anymore. Anyone experiencing the same? Is there a way around this issue? Have the old version on another computer, the function works fine there on the same document
