Bluebeam's Snapshot feature is a fantastic tool that the design team frequently uses to copy structural framing layout plans and overlay them onto architectural drawing layouts.
This functionality greatly enhances efficiency and collaboration, especially during design coordination meetings. However, one limitation is that the Snapshot feature does not support snapping to vector lines, which can make precise alignment challenging.
I’ve noticed that Bluebeam already offers an AutoAlign feature for Overlay/Compare, which works based on the gridlines of the plan.
Building on this existing capability, I’d like to suggest adding an "Auto Snap" feature for moving Snapshot images or an "Auto Align" feature for pasting snapshots. This enhancement could automatically align the snapshot with gridlines or other key reference points, ensuring better accuracy and saving time during the alignment process.
Such a feature would significantly improve the usability of the Snapshot tool and further streamline collaboration across design and construction teams. I hope Bluebeam will consider this suggestion for future updates!
