How do I default certain colors and degrees of shading? For example, if I need a text box it defaults to red at 100% also the text color. When I need a text box, I need it yellow at 40% and the text black.
Set a text box the way you want. Then select it and click on "Set as Default" at the bottom of your markup settings. You may have to scroll down to see it. Let us know if that doesn't work or is not what you wanted.

No problem. However, it appears you accepted your comment as the accepted answer instead of mine. Usually I wouldn't care but when I checked for an update, it hid my answer because it had defaulted to display "accepted answers". That "tab" is not obvious so someone new would be pretty confused that you praised yourself 😁

When adding new revisions to conformed sets (.bex file format) of design drawings, previous markups that are brought forward are getting moved off the page into the gray field areas outside of page parameters.
