Is there a way to modify the Bluebeam settings so that the plan owner can delete/edit others individuals redlines? We are having an issue where individuals will have internal discussions or put inaccurate comments on the plans. The plan owner then has to ask them to go back into the session and delete said comments.
Unfortunately, this is not an option and is likely not going to be changed.
It's a common request (or something simmilar) but I think part of the issue is this would lose continuity and integrety. What happens when the plan owner makes a change that is more "wrong" than the original? Or someone acted on the original (outdated) comment? If you could change the comment, then there's no record of what was there.
It would be better to change the status of the original to "rejected" and add a new markup with the correct information. You can even add a reply to the original comment explaining why it was rejected.
Yes, I was concerned about the integrity of the process/workflow. Can they do that now? Can the plan owner reject and then add their own? Right now staff is just telling the original person to go in and remove it themselves, which is annoying. But rejecting would clear it up if that is possible.
Yes, this can be done now but you need to establish the STATUS options you want before making the Studio Session. Follow this guide I made for more details…
