I have a schedule exported to PDF with lots of data. Oddly, some of the data fields that are exported from the scheduling tool are not fully recognized as text by Bluebeam. For example, a unique task ID number of 'E-60-AR-1234' exists, but is not found in search. Additionally, if I attempt to copy that ID number, upon pasting it returns as 'E—AR-'. If I search for just the alpha characters, it finds them. If I search just for the numbers, it does not find them.
Lastly, when opening this file in other PDF software or within a browser, their search functions find the ID numbers without issue, so I suspect the issue lies within Bluebeam.
I've attempted exporting new files and also ran OCR on one of the files, with no change in functionality.
Ultimately, I need to empower my team to find their task IDs to make updates via a Bluebeam session. The experience for them to date has been rough because they cannot find their tasks by their unique identifiers. So far, I have not seen performance differences for the search feature whether within or out of a session.
