The session feature is inconvenient because it restricts users from editing markups created by others. It would be helpful to have a function that allows only authorized users to edit them. Does such a feature exist?
If you want markups to be editable, perhaps use Bluebeam Studio Projects rather than Sessions - any invited user can be given permissions to edit.
Making this switch limits the collaborative qualities of a Session, though. It all depends on the big picture of what you aim to achieve.
Here's a technical support article that answers this question.
Session Markups locked and can't be edited
Basically, you can only edit the markup YOU made IN the Session. Outside of that, you'd have to download the file, edit it in Revu, and then upload the new version to the Session.
As others have said, you can't do this. You might want to consider re-posting in Product Feedback — your desire for the ability to have (controlled) editability of others' markups in a Session is definitely needed.

I got an email this afternoon asking if I wanted to sign up for this. "Interested in trying new Bluebeam innovations before they’re released to the public? You’re in luck!" It sounded interesting. I clicked the link, but the USA BBID doesn't take you to a login page. Is anyone else having this issue?
how to i change the line density when using the measuring tool? when i pull a measurement i click and the measurement stays as a thin blue line and not a thicker line
I am working on creating a custom toolset for my team to quickly calculate concrete and steel reinforcement quantities for bridge components. In order to do this, I have added quite a few custom "columns" which take inputs or store tool-specific variables. These are displayed in the measurement properties tab under…
I am using quantity link to get length takeoffs from my PDF directly to excel. I can link a cell to a certain measurement type (length, area, etc.) but can't separate it out from there. Attached picture might make this make sense. I want the 'Length 1' measurement to go to cell B2 and the 'Length 2' measurement to go to…
Having problem opening a file downloaded from https://au.i2.saiglobal.com/ in Revu BlueBeam. Below is the error: "There is a problem with this protected document. It may be damaged. Please contact the publisher for a clean file." Currently using Revu Complete 21.5. Greatly appreciated if someone can help one this.
When you have a document open and split so you have (2) windows, is there a way for the tools to display with each window so you don't have to go all the way across the screen to get to the 1 windows tools?
I want to group all WF Beams so when I click the beam for a take off it, has a pulldown to select the size. Can this be done?
I am having an issue where when I save, mark-ups just disappear before my eyes. I do a save after every sheet of mark-ups, and at random, every mark up I did just disappears. What is strange is that they still appear in the mark-up list, but that does me no good. I have tried exporting and reimporting the markups, doesn't…
Is it possible to relocate a drawing set from a laptop to a server? I have a large set with several revisions and would like to move it to a server to share to with others.
Perimeter measurement is an integral part of my work, however, is not available on my system (Bluebeam Revu x64 Basics). Is this correct and if so, what do I need to do to make this available. This is the only tool that I need (that is not available to me already) and I'm hoping that I do not have to upgrade my system to…
