Sometimes right click will drop it, but most times I must select a new tool before escape will work. and no, my reuse markup tool is not engaged when this happens.
I've experienced this too from time to time. I think it's just a quirk of some tools to need overridden instead of just being backed out of. I could be wrong about that, but I have most of the common tools set to keyboard shortcuts that serve me just fine so I usually just choose the next tool and keep going anyways. Could you tell us which tools you've experienced that with today?
When it gets sticky, all tool types refuse the escape key option. If it gets particularly stubborn, I save all that is open and reboot Revu. 3 out of 5 times that settles it. Where it's particularly burdensome is when I want to type into the placed markup. The cursor won't appear until I've dropped the sticky tool.
I just don't know how to replicate that. The only time I've had even a little trouble with a tool getting stuck, I just needed to hit the hotkey for another similar tool and it would let go of the one I was stuck on. When that didn't work, I might end up crashing Bluebeam, but the doc loads back up with the backup version. Never been a big issue. Have you reached out to Bluebeam's support directly?
Thank you for getting back to me. I tried to find that support option unsuccessfully. Is how I ended up trying this route. Please advise on how I might connect to that service. This issue has an impact on productivity and the workarounds are tedious. I love the functionality Bluebeam offers to our production team, just wishing I could move a bit faster with it.
You can find tech support in the app. Go to Help > Technical Support. Then you can search for your issue or go to the bottom of the page and select 'Submit a Ticket'.
I've always been pleased with Bluebeam's Support team. Maybe someone else will swoop in with an answer, but this is the best I an offer with my experience. lol
The gear on the left side of the screen toolbar use to have all of my edit tools (color, font, line size, etc.…) Now it is just file attachments and file properties and the edit tool are across the top toolbar. What did I do to change it and how to I fix it?
What is the schedule for enabling Cloud to allow batch stamping and signing of pdfs along with digital signatures as is available in Revu on Windows? It would be most helpful to be able to access, stamp, and sign drawings on an ipad instead of carrying laptops.
Hello everyone, i was new to bluebeam. And i found it very depressing that everytime i calibrate my scale, it was 0.093138cm=112.5mm and everytime i apply this scale. the scale turns into 9.313.815cm=11.250mm. can anyone help me with this. Thanks in advance.
I used to use the "paint can" fill option all the time when organizing my PDF's, and that icon disappeared a couple years ago. Did it get changed or modified? Is there an alternative that will do a similar task?
Is this a way to not have leaders attach to the top and bottom items like text, only to the left and right sides?
I would like to know how to incorporate new drawings and have all the previous mark ups imported onto those drawings easily so that i can keep the take offs up to date on the most recent drawings
About 4/5ths of the way through the 21.8 MSI installation, a Custom Action named Call_LaunchShellExplorer is trying to open a .bat in such a way that Windows is prompting the user to select which program to use to open it. For now, we have simply added a transform to prevent that CA from executing. Has anyone else seen…
Recently, when drawing lines, polylines, the linework on screen is extremely thick. Does not match the default line thickness, just really thick, rasterized lines. Then when the command/lines is finished, the line changes down to the correct line width. Is there a setting to fix this glitch?
Hello all, I've been searching around trying to figure out if this was possible but have had no success. I'm wondering if it's possible to take 2 or more exhibits and combine them along the matchlines 'WITHOUT' snapshot. Snapshot essentially turns it into an image. My intent is to retain the attributes of the original .pdf…
this change from Bluebeam for iPad to Bluebeam cloud just made the program useless. When we are in the field, attaching a photo to a markup was 80% of the point, so when exporting a summary, the photo would be with the callout. How is this most-used feature gone? I am just now finding this out at 1am and have to travel in…
