Hey we're trying to see if anyone has a PDF copy of a user manual for Bluebeam. I know Bluebeam university has tons of online training but if someone just wants to reference something quickly it would be great to have. Please share if you do!
Hey @bjordan!
Here are a few helpful resources for you!
https://support.bluebeam.com/revu/resources/resources.html
https://support.bluebeam.com/online-help/revu21/Content/RevuHelp/Dashboard.htm « Personally, I reference this one all the time!
Hopefully these are helpful for you!
To go off of what @Angela Aff said…
The first link is more task focused. If you need to accomplish a certain task, it's probably the better resource.
The second link is more feature focused. If you just need to get to know the software and it's ins and outs, it's the better resource.
That said, I don't know of any great Revu 21 User Manual pdfs. There's just so much to cover that you'd be looking at a bloody textbook, and then with each major update, you'd need a new manual or you'd need to do some major edits at the very least. If you can make do with the support sites I'd say those are really probably the best sources of information for general usage. There are great video series' out there as well, like Morning Coffee Revu with ATG, that dive deep into the application and deliver lots of juicy tidbits for streamlining workflows.
Good afternoon, I'm dealing with plans where every page is a differant scale. When I switch the scale on a differant page, it changes qunatities for all pages. I tried using viewports but it won't show me the total rollup on the bottom of the whole project. Any ideas? Thank you!
It would be nice to have a tool that would (assuming both the X and Y axises are the same scale) calculate scale from a known area on the set of plans. I have had two sets of schematic drawings come across my desk in the last month alone, that did not have the correct scale and did not have any labeled linear dimensions,…
I have most of my tools set up exactly how I want them and saved. However, every once in a while a tool will go missing or will be moved into another tool set. This might be user error, but I think a way to "lock" tool sets to prevent moving/deleting tools would be helpful!
It seems like every other day, Bluebeam requires me to sign in. AutoDesk doesnt. 365 doesnt. Please, please, please, have it stop. I use bluebeam on one machine, and it should know by its IP address and that its not be used fraudulently. Fix this!
Hi. Is anyone experiencing their toolsets randomly removing the first item in the list and replacing it with another? For example, I can open a set and the first one in the list should be say a 3-pole plug, followed by a 4-pole, 5-pole etc. but for some reason the 3-pole plug has been replaced by something random from a…
I have noticed when saving a file as PDF from Word the are sometime several bookmarks listed as "1". Bookmarks are created using Word headers, but there are never any headers named "1". Does anyone know why this happens and how to prevent it?
I would like to start out by saying I am a relatively new user on Bluebeam who has been strictly using it for quantity takeoffs for exterior cladding. I have done a deep dive or even begun to grasp the resources or features at my disposal, so if my question seems basic that's just my understanding level right now. I do…
I've added a custom column (check mark) to the Markups List. However, when I add a pdf to a BB session none of my co-workers can check/uncheck the check box. I had them add the profile it was saved to when creating but still nothing. Anyone know where I went wrong?
When I select the measure functions such as length, perimeter and area the background of the drawing turns blue. This makes it very difficult to measure and hides the detail in the drawing. How do I remove the blue background?
Hi. I'm always looking for ways to maximize my file viewing space and for the life of me I am unable to find a way to remove/hide/relocate the "file name" and its lengthy blank horizontal space from my setup. Below is a screen shot of what I am talking about: I'd appreciate if anyone knows how this area can be removed or…
