I have a black PDF piping diagram and want to colour all the different types of pipes. Eg potable water = Blue, RO water = red, Sewer = green. How do I do this please.
I think I need some more information to answer that. can you provide a screen shot?
@Deano, If I understand correctly, it seems like you have a drawing with the piping diagrams already laid out, in black. What you are looking to do is change the colors of some lines to reflect your schedule.
The easiest way is to simply draw over those lines using the polyline tool, with the correct color. See sample below.
If you want to get fancier, you can also use "line styles" to include text on the line.
That's just what I wanted Shaya. I have only just downloaded the program so now I need to find the polyline tool and have a play.
@Deano, WELCOME!
This may help you find the polyline tool…

Following on from a discussion that I was having with someone the other day, how many of you use a custom profile? And, more importantly from my point of view, how many of you use multiple profiles? I have many profiles - different trades, several for measuring groundworks (civil engineering) alone, etc.. I thought many…
Hey, Is anyone know why Revu is crashing. I open it uplaod plans start measuring and it just crashes. I have uninstalled and re-installed. I have a very time sensitive project that I am doing and need it now and support is over 24hrs away. Any help be much appreciated. Thank you
Is there any way to autogenerate markups in Bluebeam instead of manually tracing every area and perimeter? I bid multiple jobs a week, and these "robotic" takeoffs are a huge bottleneck. Does Bluebeam have an AI feature to auto-detect these boundaries and generate the markups? Manually tracing miles of sidewalk, asphalt,…
Is it possible to extract data from multiple pre-defined locations on hundreds of scanned PDF's and extract/export to excel? Scanned pdf's would have same form and locations of information. I have been able to extract all of information on pages (creates mess) but no way to capture just certain fields/locations?
If you choose an area and set the color, line weight and so on, then click out of measurement you have to then go back and redo all the particulars for that item that you are trying to take off. Can this be remedied? Onscreen allows the user to set a group of items to use repeatedly throughout a set of drawings (color,…
Good Morning Has anyone successfully imported their take-off from Bluebeam via excel into Trimble Contract Master Estimation software and have you managed to link an item in that take off to your database item?
Our company used bluebeam studio on the USA server before we had access to AU licensing. Now we have all AU licenses logging in to the USA studio server, and it tangles itself every day (worse with azure AVD). USA studio login seems to time out and when I log back in it removes the login to the AU license and logs in a…
Hi!, I'm a senior technician in an architect office, and I regurlarly do some site surveillance and dificiency reports. I am looking for an app on a tablet to consult plans (pdf format ideally), annotate them with comments (ideally speak-to-text) that will generat a list of comments with a "pin" on the pdf plan localising…
Curious if anyone adds a "time" or "man hours" columns in their markups list when doing takeoff. I have some ideas but unsure if they will actually be useful. For example: 10 LF of footing = 1 man hour. Does anyone have any tips on adding custom columns on their markups for time? I already utilize it for material cost per…
Imagine placing a door symbol and Revu automatically attaching a mini BOQ for leaf, frame, hardware and labor, all rolling up into one smart cost object that updates as you copy or move it.
