Copy and Paste multiple measurements

We use a "perimeter" measurement for calculating the total length of saw cuts in a concrete slab. Depending upon the size of the building there may be 40 or more of them. Tada, the Architect updates the drawing and the new drawing has to be marked up. I am able to copy and paste one measurement at a time. Is there a way to copy all of these measurements at one time from the existing page and paste them to the new drawing while keeping their layout. I guess I could leave the existing page with these marks if the footprint of the building hasnt changed. We have the same situation with column isolations. Come on someone.. make my day.

Hey @Todd Byrd, One way to do this would be to select all the measurements from the first sheet, in the markups list. then, with your mouse on the sheet, left click and copy, and then paste to the next sheet.

When pasting, I recommend to group the measurements at first, so that you can move them to the final location. Once in place, ungroup and edit as needed.

Wow. thank you. I dont know why that never occured to me. I have copied and pasted one at the time. I have tried to copy from the markups list but not the sheet. Tommy says thank you also.

How does the grouping work. I have it grouped but not sure how that helps. Am I making sure I only grab the ones I want should there be others I dont?

The grouping suggestion is just a personal preference. When pasting, the location of the items depends on where your mouse is pointed on the sheet (the mouse acts as the bottom-left corner). I often find that I need to adjust the placement, even slightly. To make this easier, I group the items immediately after pasting. This allows me to move them freely around the drawing without worrying about losing the selection. Once I'm satisfied with the placement, I simply ungroup them.

@Shaya Birnbaum Adding to that technique… try Edit/Paste in Place (Ctrl+Shft+V)… If the sheet layout is the same scale, orientation, and the plan did not change position relative to the sheet boarder, the markups will paste in the exact location as the sheet where they were copied from.
