Can you create a button to mirror the PDF and it's not the same as rotating.
If I understand what you're looking for, to accomplish this today you could right-click on a page from the Thumbnails panel and choose Copy Page to Snapshot (Ctrl+Alt+C).
Next, create a new PDF with the same page size and then go to Edit > Paste in Place (Ctrl+Shift+V).
Then, right-click on the pasted snapshot > Alignment > Flip Horizontal (Ctrl+Alt+H).
Finally you'll want to flatten the snapshot so it is no longer an editable markup on top of the page. Right-click and select Flatten.
I realize this is several steps and not 1-click, and wouldn't be scalable for a lot of pages, but does this create the results you're looking for?
I'm curious about what scenario(s) you have to do this.
Also, how often do you have to do this, and for many documents/pages?
Hello!
I followed your steps in the discription above and it works just fine. I would like to take it a step further though.
The reason I want to do this is to overlap to another pdf (drawing) to se if there is any differences between them. This does'nt work when my new mirrored pdf is blank when i go to Document> Overlap pages. (se attatchements)
Is there any way to fix this?
Also, just to be sure. Is "Flatten" the command with the weight? I have a Swedish version of BB Revu so I have a bit of language issuses.
I'm not sure what is going on with your mirrored drawing as nothing shows up when you start to use the overlay function. However, have you just tried overlaying the original pages using the manual 3-point aligning i.e. without doing any sort of rotations?
Yes, the "Flatten" icon looks like a weight.
Something about 19-113 speglad doesn't allow the overlay to work. Without making any changes, the overlay doesn't recognize any of it's content so only the content from V-57-1-02-19-113 shows up.
I would have thought the instructions from @Jared Adler - Bluebeam CSM would have worked. Turns out that the Overlay tool ignores snapshots, even when flattened.
I supply Doors, Frames, and Hardware, this will make it easy to keep the door handings correct on multi-family/hotel type projects.
