I use Revu essentially for area, length, and perimeter. There are often times where I have an area which required forms etc around the subject. I know I am able to see the length in the properties but I would like one subject for the area and one subject for the perimeter. i.e. 5'x20sf of sidewalk. one subject 4" sidewalk 100sf and another Forms 50lf. alot of sidewalk and slabs are curbed so I am not able to use a corner to corner measurement. Any ideas? thanks for your help.

  • Hey Todd - I would love to understand this pain point a little bit more in depth. Are you looking to be able to have one markup sort of split off into two, if you need to create an Area and a Perimeter measurement from the same shape? Or are you looking to make measurements work a little easier where, as you noted, curbs and such don't measure cleanly corner to corner? Happy to help where I can and also relay to our internal teams here, but I want to understand your need a little more. Apologies and thank you!

    Hi Harry,

I just saw your response. Modern technology. There are alot of sidewalks on this complex. Right now I am using the area tool to calculate the area of sidewalks. I then go behind it using the perimeter tool for forms. For this project I have approx. 10,500sf of sidewalks taken in 4 measurements and 26measurements of forms totaling 2,200lf. I know I am able to look a the "length" in the Markup List to see what the outer perimeter of these sidewalks is. I would like it if I can just create a new item out of the "length" measurement and call it forms. Say 4 measurements of forms created from 4 sidewalks? Does that make more sense. thank you for your help
