Re: Changing Multiple Text Box Shapes
As mentioned, the selector disappears with multiple markups. One thing you could try is to change one of the hexagons to the shape that you'd prefer. Then, right-click the new shape and choose Format Painter.
Your cursor will become a paintbrush. You will be able to click the remaining shapes and have them change.
Re: Revu 21 - Window preview pane to show location on page?
Dan,
Not sure if this is what you are wanting, but if you turn on the thumbnails it will show a small sample of the drawing with the area that is in the current view highlighted in the drawing.
Re: Changing Multiple Text Box Shapes
I was going to say "Select them all in the markup list" but if you pick more than one, you can no longer change the shape. 🤔
Re: Changing Multiple Text Box Shapes
Unfortunately, I tried all methods I know of to select multiple markups and once you select more than one, the shape selection option disappears. This would be a good suggestion for improvements to REVU.
Re: Who's joining me at UNBOUND September 30-October 2?!
YESS, @Doug McLean !!! Are we going to see a Doug fan club there?!
Re: External Script Engine
Not all commands return a value, so I am not getting a return of 1 as well. However, I am seeing that the markup is getting updated in my tests.
You might want to experiment with "interactive mode" as found in the documentation where you can get results for each function as they happen.
Request for Editing Permissions in Session Feature
The session feature is inconvenient because it restricts users from editing markups created by others.
It would be helpful to have a function that allows only authorized users to edit them.
Does such a feature exist?
Re: More callout options
Hi @jefrey .
In the PROPERTIES side pane for CALLOUTS, there is a "Shape" option with four choices that may give a little of what you are looking for…
The shapes other than RECTANGLE can begin to take up a lot of space, so it is important to Autosize these text boxes (ALT-Z) to keep the callout as compact as possible.
Re: Allow longer file names and longer paths
Not a solution, but I did find this. which states that Revu has a 180-character limit.
