Re: Any Tips for Dynamic Fields in Tools or Editable text in Stamps?
Thinking of Bluebeam tools like old-fashioned analog ones, "like physical stamps" for instance, is often what we have to overcome to really use digital tools to their full potential. Using the yellow highlighter to show markups complete, rather than markup list status and filters, is another old workflow running rampant in the Bluebeam world.
For submittal review stamps, all of our CA folks have developed the workflow of editing and saving stamps for each project and reviewer (initials or signature) fields. Then that stamp is edited for each section review response and date before it is applied. This simply moves the edit process in the workflow to BEFORE the stamp is applied. There is an edit icon right there in the Stamp pull down, so it is easy. If one of the senior colleagues wants to change it, they would replace the stamp with the updated corrected submittal review response, along with other edits.
Re: Plan owner edit another contributor's redlines?
Yes, this can be done now but you need to establish the STATUS options you want before making the Studio Session. Follow this guide I made for more details…
Re: Can't access Revu
This may not be relevant but I looked for the login issue I previously had with using Revu 21 on Parallels on my Mac. I found the solution to be this: If you cannot log in to the 64 bit version, first log in to the 32 bit version. That's what a couple of people suggested and it worked for me. (In the 64 bit version, the login box was not functional).
I found the 32-bit version login on the Windows Start menu.
If this doesn't help, I hope someone else can help soon…
Re: Quantity link with duplicate column names?
Hi @fnava - Thank you for posting in Bluebeam Community!
You will need to make sure the custom column doesn't match any of the pre-existing columns below. If it does, you'll need to change the name of the custom column:
- Subject
- Page Label
- Page Index
- Lock
- Status
- Checkmark
- Author
- Date
- Creation Date
- Color
- X
- Y
- Document Width
- Document Height
- Comments
- Wall Area
- Length
- Area
- Volume
- Count
- Measurement
- Label
- Sequence
- Capture
- Depth
- Rise/Drop
- Slope
- Layer
- Legend
- Height
- Width
- Space
- 3D View
If this doesn't help please reach out to our technical team for further support, complete this form and they’ll be more than happy to assist you!
Re: Send a message to all attendees of an open session.
Can you use the "chat" box? On mine, it's at the bottom left corner of the screen when I have a session open.
Otherwise, you can right click on an attendee's name and select to send them an email. But it doesn't seem to allow you to select "all" or "multiple" attendees simultaneously. So, you'd have to send emails one by one, and I'm pretty sure that is not what you are wanting to do.
Also, it won't even let you do that individually with attendees that have not joined yet.

Re: Mirror PDF
Hello!
I followed your steps in the discription above and it works just fine. I would like to take it a step further though.
The reason I want to do this is to overlap to another pdf (drawing) to se if there is any differences between them. This does'nt work when my new mirrored pdf is blank when i go to Document> Overlap pages. (se attatchements)
Is there any way to fix this?
Also, just to be sure. Is "Flatten" the command with the weight? I have a Swedish version of BB Revu so I have a bit of language issuses.
Re: Selected tool will not release using escape key
You can find tech support in the app. Go to Help > Technical Support. Then you can search for your issue or go to the bottom of the page and select 'Submit a Ticket'.
I've always been pleased with Bluebeam's Support team. Maybe someone else will swoop in with an answer, but this is the best I an offer with my experience. lol
