Re: Revu Additional Right Click Options: Select Similar
A great workaround. You can use the Markup Filter and Sort By features to make this workaround easier.
The "Select Similar" is challenging to implement and would require lots of control options because each user would have a definition of "similar".
E.g. for some, Similar would be based on only Markup type (Text Box), while for others they may Similar based on Markup type, colour, layout, space, status and author (or other criteria such as rotation, width, height …)
Re: The Ultimate "Start Here" Guide for Owner/Operator
Ask yourself what would help you more quickly and accurately create bid estimates and bid documents. Write a short list. Look up ways to use Bluebeam to specifically do those things and test a few out on a project you previously bid or a new simple one. For example, you might look at how to do quick material takeoffs and export that data to excel.
The Ultimate "Start Here" Guide for Owner/Operator
I purchased Bluebeam. I'm co—owner of a small civil contractor. I'm multifaceted; project management, estimator, and sometimes superintendent.
We bought Bluebeam for the following reason: "Systematically increase our ability to bid and win projects". Right now, it feels like there is too much to learn in Bluebeam. What are the learning paths you recommend?
Re: Revu has high memory usage
I am working at 960 right not but went to import drawing from file and it went up to 1157 but Google Chrome is in the lead. only 1188. I have heard Candy Crush is a memory hog lol. Have a good evening
Re: Revu has high memory usage
Thanks Isaac,
I will play with it and see. I appreciate your help. Have a good weekend
Re: Convert shape to Area
I was working with a consultant who painstakingly marked up 90 floor plans with the shape tool (multiple zones on each floor) then asked me to tell them the area of each …… 😭
I have also faced similar situations (but not to that scale)
Please add this function
Re: The Ultimate "Start Here" Guide for Owner/Operator
I also agree that Bluebeam University is a good start. Revu Help is also easy to navigate (https://support.bluebeam.com/online-help/revu20/Content/RevuHelp/Dashboard.htm).
I was hired at my current job because of my Bluebeam experience and have created several instruction manuals based on the Revu Help website. Hiring a certified Bluebeam instructor can get pricey, but if you can get customized one-on-one training, it is well worth the cost. I have been using Blue beam for well over a decade and it is a powerful tool to bid faster and more accurately.
Good luck on your journey!

Re: Bullet points & Indent text
Attached is a PDF Template in Red, Green & Blue.
Helvetica Font used since all PDF versions support it.
Re: Bullet points & Indent text
by the way, I just discovered that ALT + 7 also does the bullet point symbol!
