Re: AutoMark: Non-standard Font or Embedded Text Recognition?
It looks like SHX font (as opposed to a truetype font) which is probably represented as linework and not text in pdf files. If you run OCR then it should become recognizable as text.
Is there a way for Revu to import security certificates/Digital IDs from Adobe Acrobat?
Hi all, my company is in the midst of converting from Adobe Acrobat to Revu, and I wanted to be able to sign documents using the same Digital ID I have used. It seems that Acrobat can only export certificates to FDF or PKCS#7 (pk7) files, and Bluebeam can only import PKCS#12 (pfx) files. Is there a feature within Bluebeam that would allow me to use the same ID?

Re: Blueprints
That works. I did not know that it was currently possible, but I now see it is. Thank you for the help Jes.
Re: Missing function, being able to change icon color from blue to red color
Hi, I would also like to see this feature added back to Revu. Here is a screenshot showing the current admin setting menus, and the current look of the thumbnail:
It would be useful if we can change these to red at the very least to make it easier to distinguish from MS Word and Google Docs files.

Re: pdf and editing text
We have experienced the same as @Doug McLean. Formatting can definitely cause issues. If you can't export it back to the original program, there are ways around it sometimes with cutting the content that won't change and replacing it with new text and then flattening it or placing a text box with a fill over it.
The other thing to check is to make sure the text you want to edit is being seen by Revu as editable. If you open the file and hold down CTRL+Shift+A, it should highlight all the text that is currently editable. If the text you want to change doesn't highlight, then you would need to use OCR to try to make the text be seen by the program as editable. Text that is part of an image or was printed using an SHX font will generally not be seen as editable right away by Revu.
Re: Blueprints
It is not technically "automatic", as in already done when you open the file, but it is fairly close.
Use page regions to create page labels, in the Thumbnails side panel, you can identify the area of the sheet that consistently shows the sheet name and number to do that.
Skip down to "Creating Page Labels Automatically" in the following link.
Cheers!
Re: Required Form Fields before being allowed to save
Sounds like a bug.
I'd report the issue
Re: Match filter in batch overlay
Thanks for the response Doug, helpful to know that is the case.
Will look at being more consistent with the way I export PDFs.
Re: Stamping PDF docuemnts with Date and Signature
Welcome to Bluebeam.
What you're going to need to do is learn how to make a dynamic stamp.
There are videos and other tutorials on the subject, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
The stamp will have a small amount of JavaScript in it, which will allow you to place those variables.
Good luck
