Re: Blueprints
It is not technically "automatic", as in already done when you open the file, but it is fairly close.
Use page regions to create page labels, in the Thumbnails side panel, you can identify the area of the sheet that consistently shows the sheet name and number to do that.
Skip down to "Creating Page Labels Automatically" in the following link.
Cheers!
Re: Required Form Fields before being allowed to save
Sounds like a bug.
I'd report the issue
Re: Match filter in batch overlay
Thanks for the response Doug, helpful to know that is the case.
Will look at being more consistent with the way I export PDFs.
Re: Stamping PDF docuemnts with Date and Signature
Welcome to Bluebeam.
What you're going to need to do is learn how to make a dynamic stamp.
There are videos and other tutorials on the subject, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
The stamp will have a small amount of JavaScript in it, which will allow you to place those variables.
Good luck
With Bluebeam do you have the ability share a document?
I just moved to Bluebeam a couple months ago and I am very impressed with the functions it offers.
I am working on a job with multiple people and am curious if we place a file on the network can multiple people get in the doc at the same time with read/write ability?
I am thinking "Studio Sessions" might be the path i need to go down?
Match filter in batch overlay
Hi I was wondering if anyone that's been using match filters in the advanced options for batch overlay pages that could help me?
I have two documents and would like to match the pages.
The two file names are:
- 23-23_F06_Akl St Beach_Arch Drawings_TENDER-CONSENT_250122
- 23-23 Akl St Beach_IFC
The page indexes match, the file names don't.
Two thirds of the page labels match, and then the rest seem to have issues with spacing around dashes.
For example one of the sheets might have two different labels like the following:
- A0.22 - Existing & Demolition -GA Elevations
- A0.22 - Existing & Demolition - GA Elevations
Trying to match by file name, page index, I've tried match filter:
23-26*
This results in 0 matched pages.
Trying to match by page label, I've tried:
A#.##*
This results in no better matches compared with leaving it blank.
Does anyone how I could get this feature to work?
I have tried page region and can get more matched pages with that, but prefer the speed of page index and page label considering that the files should in theory match.
Appreciate any help with this.
Re: Changing Multiple Text Box Shapes
I have never noticed this in the right-click menu and I have been in there a million times!
Re: Markups list - line length not showing up
@Matt Ruhrer, is correct. to calculate length, you must use either the Measurement Tool or the Polylength Tool.
Bluebeam Take Note: This situation highlights a strong case for Bluebeam to implement an item substitution feature. Currently, @Davide would need to redraw all these lines manually. Imagine the efficiency if Bluebeam allowed us to select existing lines and convert them directly into measurements. The time savings across all our workflows would be significant.
Re: Capture Photos from iPad Camera and attach to Callout or other Markups
Second this… I have been trying to retool the Architect Review items to work like this used to when I used iPad for punch lists… So far, very cumbersome and laden with work arounds, so - not much luck.
