Re: 💡 Share Your Bluebeam Tips & Tricks!
If I could offer a tip it would be to play. Just try to figure stuff out.
Explore the UI, try stuff out. Go Hey, what does this tool do?
Other than that, change your profile to Revu Advanced. Just changing the UI from the out of the box profile makes a lot of difference
Re: Name change
Your display name is tied to your BBID, which anyone can change. Click here for instructions on how to change your BBID display name.

Ha, you sure I'm not a bother? Looks like I sure talk a lot. 😀
I didn't even know this was a badge, let alone think I'd be the first to earn it.
Re: How to Print Current View
It's there, I missed it when looking.
Thanks!
Re: "Is there a method to clear all annotations or revert the marked-up files to their original state?"
@Alger, There are several ways to remove your markups:
To delete them: Simply select the markups either directly on the drawing or from the Markups List, then press delete.
To hide them without deleting: If your markups are assigned to specific layers, you can hide those layers and lock them. This ensures the markups won't display or reopen automatically the next time you access the drawings.
Hope this helps!
Re: Coverage Area
@LD166, the design is an intricate one, first you will have to either create the design from scratch or use the screenshot tool to create the design.
Once that is done, scale it to the correct dimension you want, add it to your Tool Chest, and make sure to click Set Scale.
Re: "COMMENT" COLUMN IN TOOL CHEST
Good morning, since this issue shows up in multiple posts and I agree with them I would like to add further explanation below.
When performing a take off you want to maximize the plan sheet space you are viewing. Currently if you drag the "grip" to narrow the tool chest display area it slides the comment and label columns with it until they reach their minimum width and then it starts to overlap the subject area leaving your subject area to only +/- 8-12 characters. Then if you go to expand the grip to reveal more characters it first unveils the comment and label columns and by the time the subject column grows in width you've now lost a good section of your entire screen. The two fixes would be 1. ability to hide columns 2. when you drag the grip have it start to cover the label comment columns immediately.
Re: Can I lock the measurement fonts and line end settings?
i just figured it out, open the settings wheel, set the measurements, fonts, etc., then scrool down to "options" click on set default, and they set
Re: Can I auto update Bluebeam Markup List Exports for Excel
Not that I've been able to find.
Good to see that you're using Power Query though. It would be awesome if we could get a connector for the markup metadata and pull it direct within PQ w/o having to do the Markup export.
