Re: I replied to all comments, now I need to show as text box.
Yes, sorry i should have explained that better.
My "work around"
- expand the markup window
- in the sheet, left click the original comment
- in the markup window, right click on the reply under the selected OG comment
- click "copy [comment]"
- in the sheet, ctrl + V paste.
I was just hoping for something easy and perhaps automated.
Re: Is it possible to compare and also overlay PDFs?
I think the easiest answer to you question would be that it's not a thing. You can do several workarounds and hope for the best, but I just don't see a quick and easy way to get what you are looking for. Unless you're dealing with hundreds or more differences I'd just do an overlay and then go through and mark each change I see with a certain markup to make it so the markup list captures as many changes as possible, while keeping the drawings as clean as possible. You could do the comparison instead and try your best to clean it up, but I find the overlay feature more intuitive for my usual purposes.
I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, but I just tried for a couple hours to find an alternative in which I used both comparison and overlay together, but they pretty much always created a big headache of either missing many helpful changes or adding useless ones. The fewer issues I had with needing to add callouts, the more I had to delete, and the few I had to delete, the more I had to add. It just wasn't very helpful ultimately, because it caused so many interruptions to a steady workflow.
Re: Substract area from wall measurement
Hi @Rafael Urtecho ! After creating the area measurement, go back into Tools and select Polygon Cutout.
Draw a polygon for the door or window. The area now just represents the wall after the cutout.
After this, you can select the Area tool again. The cursor will turn into a paint can as it moves over the door or window. Click there to get the area of the door window.
Opening an Australian Standard document from Intertek Inform (SAI Global)
Having problem opening a file downloaded from https://au.i2.saiglobal.com/ in Revu BlueBeam. Below is the error:
"There is a problem with this protected document. It may be damaged. Please contact the publisher for a clean file."
Currently using Revu Complete 21.5.
Greatly appreciated if someone can help one this.
Re: Which One: U.N.O or U.O.N. ?
I personally lean towards UNO, but my office specifies UON just to avoid the "Spanish" one.
It's funny how things aren't a problem… until they are.
Re: Please allow one-click download all files in a Studio Session
Most engineers use multiple P&IDs that need to be downloaded at one time. Bluebeam…this needs to be a function that is added!!!
Re: Revu for iPad to Retire on December 31, 2025
I look forward to seeing what new and exciting ways we will be able to use this cloud app that is being built to better the documentation process out in the field. Thank you for your time and positive feedback about what I built for my safety department in Revu. Hope we will be able to carry it over to the cloud app once the Revu app is deleted; if not it will put us in a bind.
Re: What’s New in Bluebeam Beta: Join the Revu 21.5 Test Project Today!
At the moment Stitching is still in Beta but it will be releasing this year. If you would like to take it for a test drive then I'd encourage you to sign up for the beta and apply to the Revu 21.6 beta which will be kicking off in late May.
Re: 📢 Upcoming Community Interface and Navigation Updates!
