Call out numbers not recognized

I've done OCR and run batch hyperlinks. It works pretty well. However, the callouts all through the plans that are referenced on the bill of materials page are never recognized. Why is that? I've even tried doing an image search while in the BOM to find where that callout is in the plans, but I never get a good result. Is it a font issue, or am I doing something incorrect?

You may need to flatten the callouts in order for OCR to read the data.

OCR identifies the font and then logs the letters irrespective of font type IIRC. It is almost certainly a matter of flattening the markups. If they are not flattened they are not considered PDF content, which is all OCR can scan.
