Alright folks, we'll I'll get the party started on this chat!

What makes me a Bluebeam fan?! What do I love about Bluebeam?! Easy!

#1: 💙 OUR CUSTOMERS.

And no…I'm not just saying that! Here's why:

I was three weeks into my career at Bluebeam and attended XCON. I was nervous as could be and thought, "what am I getting myself into going to this user conference right now…I don't know anything!"

Then, I met so many of YOU - the users, the heart and soul of Bluebeam. I was immediately taken aback by the passion and excitement I heard from attendees to just talk about Bluebeam. From that moment - I knew I worked for a company and software that was special.

#2: 💡My AH-HA moment - leveraging the power of permissions in Studio Projects

In the Bluebeam User Group world, I collaborate with BUG members and groups across the globe. I used to have over 30+ individual Projects to collaborate on BUG meetings and share documentation w/ BUG Champs and it became difficult to keep everything up-to-date. S

Solution: I took 30 individual Projects and consolidated them to one master Project w/ permissions. This allowed me to share the right information with the right users.

Yep! Big fan, proponent, power user, office resource, and workflow strategist when it comes to deploying Bluebeam to work smarter on our project collaborations.

Bluebeam can efficiently help us do things for streamlined document management (control) and accelerated collaboration. When you show new users BB workflows and end products (especially principals and partners) you can sometimes see the dollar signs evaporating over their heads while they over-exaggerate the amount of effort it takes to accomplish these BB workflows and end products.

Then, once you show them the ease and automation built into the processes and set ups, their faces light up and the evaporating dollar signs change to big bright light bulbs as the blue progress bar shoots across the screen.

Bluebeam takes a lot of the tedious tasks out of document management leaving more time to do what we do best for our clients.

The essence of many AH-HA moments that happen when I am using Bluebeam and showing others how to; we can let the software and UI show us the best way to accomplish things, rather than trying to force old hardcopy habits and workflows into the PDF world. EG using the yellow highlighter tool to indicate completed markups rather than setting status in the markups list and using filters to control markup visibility. Same goes from when new users are trying to get BB to do something the same way another piece of software does it and you show them the BB way.

My biggest A-Ha moment came years ago when I started making very specific custom columns and then was able to export that data.
This is what makes Bluebeam so powerful, the data that it can export.
Once that data is out, you can just do so much with it.
