Replacing Custom Counts

I use Bluebeam for electrical take-off and occasionally I need to replace the custom count I have in in place with something else. Lets say the duplexes in this area need to become junction boxes, or GFCI type. I'd like to be able to select count measures > Right Click > Replace count measure with > show tool box custom counts > select new custom count.
(I know this is a constant annoyance with the people I work around, but adding a control point to the custom counts for rotation adjustment would also be greatly appreciated. I'm sure there's a smart person staring at this with dismay for trivializing the difficulty of this, or what i'm not taking into consideration, but If possibly we'd really appreciate it)

As of right now for situations like this I just quickly edit my markup section and go from there. But this would be a nice feature that I would utilize

Oh yeah. I definitely get that as an electrician. I wonder if there is a way to create a relation in the custom counts to a property of some sort. Like how we can sort markups by a custom column like "Device Type", and then, when you select a specific type (i.e. GFCI, Junction Box, Duplex, etc) it would then render the markup in that place with relation to the current control point. I don't think it would be too dissimilar from creating custom status options.
I don't know if that made sense now that I've tried proofreading, but I'm not sure how else to describe what I'm talking about. If you use Revit, it would be like switching the family type. The manually input properties wouldn't change, but the markup would just change to a different style or whatever.
Edit: Oh, and the count itself probably could be kept unbroken by utilizing autorecount. If you change from count A to count B, then you either introduce B as a new count or add to previously placed B count and the remaining A's just adjust accordingly like splitting it from a count group.
Edit 2: I also looked over split count. We can split the count and then change the color of the count, but I still don't see anymore customization than that.
