Drawing Logs?

I'm currently trying to find a document control solution and would love to know what others are using. I know that Sets create a drawing log, but it is a laborious process and I am looking for something more streamlined. At one point, the cloud tool could management documents and revisions, but it looks like that is no longer the case? I'm wondering if there are other tools out that that can interact Bluebeam but manage plan dates and versions.

Hi @Christian, I would like to know more about what you are trying to achieve. I have a plugin for Revit that handles document revisions and creates document registers. Originally I have come here to see what app integrations are possible with Bluebeam to see if it makes sense to develop an integration between my plugin ReviCheck and Bluebeam.

  • Hello @Mark Silcock! My main objective is managing the preconstruction environment to help with a clear handoff to operations after winning a bid. Bluebeam used to have an online tool with the Drawings website that would format the sheet names and disciplines, as well as handle revisions and a current set drawing log. That would have mostly done the trick but it is no longer available. The Drawing Set tool within Review will do it, but it is a little cumbersome with an aging UI. There are several project management tools that do it (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc), but those work better for projects you are actually building and not just pricing. We bid 10 times more work than we win so we need something that is nimble and user friendly.
