Embedded Photo Icon Size

Hello,

I enjoy using photo embedding when I do site visits, especially since my site visits are usually international, so I cannot just visit the site whenever I want to, so these photos are great, especially when I take 360 photos. The icon that appears when you embed a photo, I don't like that its size does not change, so when you zoom out, especially when you have a lot of embedded photo icons, you are left looking at a drawing that is overwhelmed with these icons because they are now huge in relations to the drawings. Once you zoom in again, there is no issue, but I zoom in and out of my drawings a lot so those icons taking over the drawing are a real distraction. It would be so nice if they would shrink right along with the mark-ups when you zoom out of a PDF.

Thank you for your time,

John

    Hello John

I was in your shoes while ago and although no direct feature to automatically scale photo icons when zooming in and out

here is the workaround that I figured out for me, you can hide or show the photo icons when necessary to prevent them from cluttering your view when zoomed out.

    • Go to Revu > Layers > Add Layer.
    • 1-Name the layer something like “Photos markups” or “Photo Icons.”
    • 2-After embedding the photos, right-click the markups that consist of photo icon, select Layer and move it to the new “Photos markups” layer.
    • 3-You can then toggle the visibility of the "Photos makrups" layer on or off when zooming in or out of your drawing by checking or unchecking the box next to the layer name.

see the attached snap if it helps:)
