Use Automark to directly export titleblock information to .csv

It would be really convenient to have a function to batch export titleblock information to csv from a pdf drawing set.

The automark function already exist for creating bookmarks and page labels from titleblock regions. The bookmarks can then be exported to csv.

It would be nice if there was a command to do it in a single operation using the automark region feature to create a csv table where each region can be named and is a separate column.

    Hi @Alexandre de Massy,

This does sound nice. Could you share how important this feature is to you?(i.e. how much time this would save you?)

  • Currently, it would save some time by eliminating steps and make it easier for others to do. I would say it would save me 5-10mn per drawing package, maybe an hour a month.

If the function is made "generic" I am sure other users will come up with new use cases.

This would save tons of time and has the ability to become an invaluable tool. If you could select regions and assign them to a database you would be able to custom filter drawing set information relevant to the project. We are an electrical contractor that works with unique process systems often. We get bid drawings and change order drawing sets with hundreds of drawings for review. This tool would save a lot of time for discussion, analysis, pricing, etc.
