Re: Option to select what split windows/ detached pages to be synchronized.
At least as a temporary solution, could you open a second instance of Revu for the items you don't want the synchronization to affect?

Re: Measure length along a sloped curve with the Perimeter tool
So you're looking for the real-world length (in three dimensions) of the handrail. You can do this easily for straight runs but not for curved runs, correct? How do you do it now (what's the math/method/formula?)
My instinct (and what you're probably doing already) would be to take the length from the plan (a) and the stair rise (b), then use the formula a² + b² = c². Solve for c. Keeping in mind that handrail extensions might be level but it looks like you're not dealing with that in your example.
Re: 🗓️ June 2025 Challenge - Revu Remix!
I used BB to build and track my March Madness tournament bracket.
It also makes good memes. When we got a new fridge in the office, I put one together to announce the ice maker was ready for use, after its 24 hr initial cleaning period. It was cold and snowing here that day….
Re: How can I use iPad for on site inspection with specific mark-ups (tool set)?
Ok. Thank you. I was able to do it with that app. I appreciate the help.
Re: How can I use iPad for on site inspection with specific mark-ups (tool set)?
The Bluebeam app being retired is the stand alone Bluebeam app right? Not the cloud app. Are you using the Bluebeam app being retired or the cloud based on? If your using the one being retired, does that let you have tool boxes?
I am using the cloud based app. Where I have to start a session on my PC and then I can open it up on the app. I dont see the option on the cloud app for the ipad for tool boxes.
What I am trying to do is just as you said. I wish I could have tool boxes and then I can just one click the items I need right onto the page and edit/copy. I believe this was coming but is not here yet. I am trying to find a way to do this in the meantime but cant figure out how.
Re: How can I use iPad for on site inspection with specific mark-ups (tool set)?
Yes it is the stand alone app from my understanding! The only way I know this workaround works is in that app and not the cloud one yet.
Re: How can I use iPad for on site inspection with specific mark-ups (tool set)?
The iPad app is currently being phased out. See this link for that thread.
For workflow, im not sure what your using the app for in field, but I have used this work around for a few punch lists. I started new a tool box with several text box saved with standard callouts such as PT, RCP, LIGHTING, REPAIR, DENT, CORRECT, REF., etc… and saved each one in that tool box. This allows them to be one click to select - one click to paste. This is the fastest method I have found for large scale markups in field in the app. Easy to repeat and quick to edit if I need to edit a specific note such as PT - WRONG SHEEN.
Re: 🗓️ June 2025 Challenge - Revu Remix!
I used Bluebeam on the iPad for a research project years back. We wanted to see how our current office space was being used to help plan for different types of spaces at our new office.
I took employee photos and placed them in a toolset (each one included additional information like their title and market sector they worked in). Then, I had a PDF of the current office floor plan, and several times a day, I would place the photos of the person where they were.
I used Status to indicate if they were working digitally or analog. And if it was anything of note, I used Capture to take a photo.
Since everything was date/time stamped, I was able to export to a .csv file and create a heat map of where our staff tends to migrate and how that typically changes throughout the day!
(I actually presented this at CHI BUG a few years ago 😉)

Re: Copy-Paste Issues
In our case, we realised when a user has Citrix Workspace app. (v25 and up, released 15th May) connected to a remote desktop, Bluebeam's paste function greys out on the local computer. We downgraded Workspace to v24 LTS and no longer experiencing the issue.
My assumption is Workspace's copy and paste function has something to do with it. Only an assumption though, not yet had the chance to investigate further but I thought it might help mentioning.
✴ Feature Highlight: Split View
Did you know that you are able to break up your workspace into up to sixteen multiple splits that can be synchronized?
Here’s how:
Find the Navigation bar at the bottom of the workspace or in the View menu.
- To split the window vertically, click or press CTRL + 2.
- To split the workspace horizontally, click or press CTRL + H.
- To remove the current split, click or press CTRL + SHIFT + 2.
You can also synchronize pan and zoom settings and actions across all of your split views!
Locate View menu or Sync menu on the Status bar and select a synchronization mode.
Synchronization modes:
Synchronize Document -> Allows you to synchronize the viewing windows when displaying PDFs in side-by-side Split View mode or in a detached window by page index.
Synchronize Page -> Allows you to synchronize viewing windows in side-by-side Split View mode without regard to page index. This gives you the ability to synchronize different pages across documents or different pages in the same multi-page document.
Let us know below:
Have you found Split View especially useful for certain types of projects or disciplines?
