Re: Leave Bluebeam Cloud Alone?
Its distressing to know they're doing away with the RFI, Submittals, and Punch system without a replacement. I watched the webinar last week and its not a good replacement. Its half baked and clunky. We have contractors that need a simple and intuitive interface as possible. What was demonstrated is not at all simple. Disappointed in this decision.
Re: Web Based Add-in
Hi Jen. I am curious if anyone has reached out regarding the web-based add-ins you wrote about. I submitted a ticket to Revu about this earlier this morning.
Re: 📢 The Future of Bluebeam Cloud ☁️
I'm really looking forward to this. It will be great for the iOS version to continue evolving. For now, Bluebeam is mostly a desktop app for me with the occasional file saved to my iPad to reference. I don't do much work within the iOS app or on the cloud.
Re: ✴️ Experience using the Tool Chest?
I agree, the Tool Chest is a great feature but it does have room for further improvement. I use the Comment column quite often and I'm having one problem that I would love to see fixed in a future update:
I have noticed that if I draw a Line (saved in a tool set with comments and in 'Properties mode') while having the 'Reuse' tool activated, I can't draw more than one line at a time without losing the comments. This problem basically renders the Reuse tool useless.
Re: 📢 The Future of Bluebeam Cloud ☁️
Festures I’d love to see in the future, when cloud has full project support are auto batch slip and auto compare with help from AI.
If Bluebeam is storing my data in the cloud, it might as well go through it and report it’s findings while I’m enjoying a cup pf coffee. :)
Re: Entering the same text in multiple form fields
If you give Form Field Text Boxes the same exact names, then they will all be updated if any one of them has their text updated. Hopefully this solves your problem!

Re: Multiple Legends
So i was able to do it while taking off a hotel, but I can't seem to do it on any other drawing. I've duplicated the settings and properties of the table exactly and it just won't go.
Re: Any Tips for Dynamic Fields in Tools or Editable text in Stamps?
Thank you Peter! I work in an architecture office and it is very common for us to need to edit information on things like submittal review stamps after they have been placed but before they leave the office. Our users think about the stamps like physical stamps, where they would stamp the document, and then may "pencil-in" information before inking the final response. It is a normal part of our workflow to have documents reviewed before leaving the office, and it is not intuitive for our users to need to re-place a stamp when they need to edit only a single data point. For example, a submittal review stamp may be placed with all of the information filled out and marked as "revise an resubmit" after review a more senior colleague may find that the submittal does not need to be resubmitted, but changed to "furnish as corrected" - or some similar scenario. Our users place text boxes over top of stamps as a work around which is clunky. I've switched us to using tools so that there is fillable information on the submittal "stamps" (they are actually tools now and not stamps) but our users liked having automatic date and name fields filled - as it is one less thing for them to think about.
Re: Leave Bluebeam Cloud Alone?
I specifically upgraded to Studio Core mid July 2024 to utilise the ability to work remotely on site on a tablet to produce snagging lists.
Since purchasing the Core product I have been setting my future Project up only now to find that Bluebeam Cloud is being discontinued.
There is no simple "Punch" function in Revu/Studio and all of punch-like mark ups are Americanised.
Is the only way to use this facility now to use my laptop to log into Revu and check drawings in and out remotely to synchronise them?
