Re: Visual Search only captures entities at the top of the page
Well, @Tom.Stonehewer , I'm not certain this will do the trick, but I sort of had a similar experience when I tried to make a drawing like they one you show here. What I did was change to the most crude search settings I could come up with. I unchecked 'Limit by Section' and dropped sensitivity to 0. I got several false positives but it got me the full page at least. From there I was able to make a few changes to the sensitivity and even eventually turned back on the 'Limit by Section' option. My final settings that gave me the exact results I wanted are shown below.
'Search for Fine Detail' actually got me very close, but missed one. Turned that back off and bumped the sensitivity up a bit to get it just right.
Re: Edit/Unlock markups in Studio Sessions
Simple. In the Sessions settings —> Permissions tab —> Applied Permissions list, new option "Markup Edit": Deny/Allow. There are already 6 options in the list, I don't think adding another one should be a problem.
By the way the "Full Control" option is not full control, cannot "control" markups. 😣
We don't want all sessions to have the markups editable. We only want the option to turn it on/off by the admin when required.
Re: Edit/Unlock markups in Studio Sessions
@Luke Shiras, not to be rude but did you even read the previous comments in this thread? I and many others already replied - in detail - with how our workflows are affected by being unable to edit existing markups.
Of course we can just overwrite other people's markups, but it is much harder to interpret 3 overlapping markups than 1 single markup edited by multiple people. Some legal uses likely require an explicit trail of who did what, so we're not asking Bluebeam to let everyone edit everything always.
When me and the others in this thread are working collaboratively with our colleagues in Microsoft Office 365 or Google Docs or on physical equipment, we all build on and edit each other's work. But when it comes to Bluebeam, we cannot edit each other's work, we have to essentially raze the building by hiding all their work with a filled white rectangle and then make our new edits from scratch. And then when a 3rd person comes along, they have to cover up everything again with a white rectangle and make new edits yet again from scratch.
Re: Zoom and scroll
Hi @Niklas - which view is being used? Selecting Scrolling Pages will achieve the scroll and zoom that you want. Larger page dimensions will open in One Full Page by default. Scrolling Pages can still be selected.
Additionally, you can go into Revu → Preferences and set both modes to scroll with the wheel, allowing you to zoom with CTRL when needed.

Re: Reuse or Save Page Label/Bookmark Page Region selections
I don't think there is, but would definitely get behind this as a new feature.
Re: Reuse or Save Page Label/Bookmark Page Region selections
I second the motion. I have drawings of multiple page sizes (some 11x17, some 24x36, sometimes in the same document) and it would be very nice if I didn't have to select the region every time - if there was a macro that would detect the page size and pick the page region accordingly.
This would be a very nice feature if this was made into a macro.
Re: Thumbnails Pane: Show Page Size
This is definitely a problem.
Perhaps improve the create page labels tool to look for the text in a relative position from the bottom right corner, etc. when the user knows the page sizes change. I would love a smarter tool, where if when it was finished it would tell me that XXX pages it didn't find content for labels, prompt to re-run the tool for those pages only and choose a new page region…
