Re: What's new in the Revu 21.5 version?
Thank you for your comment.
It was a very informative article.
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
So, seeing the chat above about Bluebeam being used with Power Query in Excel, I thought I'd do another quick video demonstrating one of the workflows that I use regularly and which I demonstrated at the London BUG.
This just shows how one markup in Bluebeam can be changed into an endless amount of information in Excel.
Hopefully, this will give a few people ideas for upgrading their workflows!
Re: Keep highlighter from switching to text icon
Uncheck 'Enable Text Highlighting' in the Window Preferences. That will keep it from highlighting the text.
See this feature highlight for more about Highlighting: Feature Highlight - Highlighter Tool
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
I'm almost 4 years into it and still learning.
You can do quite a lot with the UI, but it gets even more powerful when you start to learn the M code
Re: Keep highlighter from switching to text icon
It is funny how that works - so sensitive.
When holding CTRL, and BB still wants to highlight text, Release CTRL and move the mouse out of that part of the sheet, then click it to start the highlight once the icon changes back.
It is a work around, I know. Your highlights will have "tails," but it works when you do not want to auto highlight lines of text.
Re: iPad App Overhaul Desperately Needed
The response from Bluebeam is so disheartening. Cloud based (ie web browser) solutions will hinder the capabilities of mobile markups.
The development team needs to get back on updating the app. It needs to be optimized for current resolutions (including for larger ipad 12.9 / 13 pro) and capabilities.
Re: Tool Chest. Describing for symbols
This is a topic that has been raised many times. It is something that is supposedly coming in a near future update. Looking forward!
Re: FEDRAMP and/or disabling cloud services - CMMC evaluation
February 2025… is Bluebeam working toward CMMC, or are they sticking their heads in the sand, hoping it was just a threat that's going to blow over soon? As a DoD contractor, we are in the process of dropping all software services that aren't FedRamp compliant. It's painful. I hate to lose all the convenience and functionality of Revu studio projects and sessions.
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
Hoping to do this in a presentation at Unbound 😎
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
Nice job, @Doug McLean! This is impressive. Way over my head but I know this is a popular topic and I've heard BUG members talk about this before, too!
