Thanks for the detailed breakdown of how you're using Revu for iPad. You've clearly built a solid system, and we want to make sure you're set up for success as we move forward. A few important things to clarify:

• We don’t have the option to build on Revu for iPad. It’s based on older tech that’s becoming obsolete and unstable on newer versions of iOS, even with updates.
• Engaging with the Bluebeam Cloud iOS app now is the best way to influence what comes next. It’s the platform we’re investing in to give you more tools, better stability, and a path forward that doesn’t crash or lock you out of your work.
• Custom icons and symbols you create in Revu or Web can be saved to tool sets and used in the mobile app later this year, so you’ll be covered there.

Here’s where we are and what’s coming:

• Studio Sessions
  Join Sessions, collaborate with markups, update statuses, and add comments.
• Core Markups (11 tools)
  Rectangle, Text Box, Arrow, Cloud, Callout, Cloud+, Ellipse, Vector Pen (Line, Polyline, Polygon), Highlighter, Pen, Image.
• Basic Markup Editing
  Move, resize, delete
• Studio Projects (Read-Only Access)
  View and browse files stored in Studio Projects.
• Report Creation via Revu
  You can continue creating reports in Revu today, as long as you’re using Studio or a shared cloud platform to maintain a single source of truth.

• Studio Projects – Check-in/Check-out Support
  Enables file locking, version control, and accountability for edits.
• Access to Local Files
  Open PDFs stored directly on your device or through Files, iCloud, or supported DMS apps.
• Offline-First File Sync
  Mark documents and folders for offline access ahead of time—no need to open each file manually.

🧭 Planned for Late 2025 – Before Revu for iPad Retirement

• Tool Set Syncing
  Tool sets created in Revu or Web will sync directly to the mobile app.
• Measurements
  Count, length, area, and perimeter tools.
• Form Access via Hyperlinks to GoCanvas
  While we’re not building forms directly into the app, we will support hyperlinking out to GoCanvas (or other apps). This gives you a way to launch forms from Bluebeam without needing built-in PDF form tools.

🔮 Planned for 2026

• Attaching Photos to Markup Replies
  Currently, images can be placed on documents, but attaching them to replies is targeted for early 2026.
• Adding Markups to Photos
  Also planned as part of photo workflows in early 2026.
• Custom Columns
  We’ll support custom columns created in Revu. They don’t display in mobile yet, but that’s in scope.
• Snapshots
  Not yet available, but it’s on our short list of additional markup tools to support.

Hey @bwhitlock, appreciate you sharing this! Revu for iPad had a strong foundation, but the tech made it tough to keep improving. That’s exactly why we’re rebuilding—to carry over what worked and push further. The goal is to give you something you can count on when designing workflows.
