Having trouble deciding what to discuss in the Talk Bluebeam forum? Anything related to Bluebeam!
Below is an example of the types of discussions welcomed. A Bluebeamer might ask:
Q: Can a stamp tool be created that automatically adds the date it was applied?
And a response they might receive from other Bluebeamers or Staff could look like:
A: “Great question! Stamps can include dynamic text, which allows for specific information to be automatically added to the Stamp when it is applied to the PDF. This includes author, file name, and date among many other things! While in the Stamp editor and creating a Text box, you will see a small Dynamic drop down in the lower left-hand corner of the Text box. You can select from several standard dynamic text fields, including date. Another way is to just type [&Date] in the Text box; the Stamp will recognize this as dynamic. For more detailed instructions please visit our Working with Stamps support article.

Badges
When requesting a badge and you click submit, it keeps going back to the submit screen. I would think it should say something like thanks for your submission or ? or redirct you to the badges page? Might be a problem with the automation?

How long have you been using Bluebeam: ~7 years
Favorite Bluebeam feature: Hands down, the Measurement tool and the ability to calibrate scale. It significantly reduced the number of architectural drawings cluttering up my office and is so much easier than using a scale ruler lol.
Love: I'm near the Puget Sound and am always in the water, whether it's kayaking, paddle boarding, or diving. I also like painting and gardening.
Fun Fact: I was an interior designer before coming to Bluebeam and trained other designers in various millwork products. I used Revu extensively throughout my tenure and still love it!

Re: Blocking User from a Session???
@Carina That seems like a good suggestion. When someone tried to join after I restricted access, this is what I saw.
'To restrict access to this Session to only those users listed on the Attendees tab whose Access is set to Allow, select Restrict Attendees.
The relationship between this setting and a user's Access status (either Allow or Deny) lets you set up the equivalent of a "white list" or a "black list" and merits some further explanation:
When Restrict Attendees is checked, only users listed here on the Attendees tab whose Access is set to Allow will be able to access this Session. This is the equivalent of a "white list."
When Restrict Attendees is not checked, any user can access the Session except for those listed here on the Attendees tab whose Access is set to Deny. This is the equivalent of a "black list."'

Could you turn on "Restrict users" in the settings? This will allow only an owner to invite, and anyone who has the ID and requests to join will sit in "pending" until an owner accepts them in.

Thanks for the feedback, @Andy Krogh! This definitely seems confusing. The visibility and simply not letting members request the same badge again once submitted can be improved.
Currently, only the pop-up notifications let you know the status of the badge request in the bottom left corner of the page.
