Re: What feature/tool could you talk about for hours?
Hi Liz,
I never use Sessions but would be very glad to learn if you can start pointing…..
Re: What feature/tool could you talk about for hours?
One of my previous bosses was convinced she could draft a whole project in Bluebeam as fast as we could in Revit. For the most part, I would agree, but one thing Revit has going for it is revealing the hidden problems. Like where a roof interacts with an awkward wall intersection or where ceilings and windows overlap.
But with the right toolsets, you can draft pretty much anything you need quickly and accurately.

Landjaeger for certain.
Re: Secondary Steel Takeoff in Bluebeam (For an Ex: Bent Plate, Angles, CMU Wall Supports, Sill Angle..)
You also might try checking out our next Workflow Talk: Steel Takeoff Kit on 7/17 from 3-4pm ET and talk to the Bluebeam consulting team about this topic, they might have some tips for you too!
Re: Unbound DC Tour - 10/3/25
Hey @Troy DeGroot !!! The tour is from 9am-12pm EDT!
The tour is limited to the first 200 attendees who sign up. You can sign up through the registration process. If you didn't add this already, you can log back in and edit your registration.
Looking forward to seeing you at Unbound, Troy!
Re: The Ultimate "Start Here" Guide for Owner/Operator
start with Bluebeam University. Its basic, but it will get you going.
I would HIGHLY recommend a full on Training Course by a Bluebeam Certified Instructor.
Check with your local Construction Association to see if they have anything.
There will also be courses at Unbound if you want to make that trek.
Re: Custom tool chest issue
oh, those are Hotkeys.
They use to be only available in My Tools, but the recent 21.6 update allowed you to transfer them to any tool box.
Click on the Gear Icon in My Tools and choose Set Numbering.
