Re: Add Folders for Studio Sessions!
I would use this feature if developed. Anyone else?
Re: How do I keep Bluebeam Studio from logging me out of my Studio Sessions multiple times a day?
Hi @bWhite,
Many thanks for your message. The advice Tech support gave you is correct. Although some of our users run Revu on Parallels, this is not a supported environment so there might not be much we can do to help here. The only virtual environment we currently support is Citrix! If you still want our team to investigate this further, can you please raise a Support ticket? Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Hercia
Re: Add Folders for Studio Sessions!
We have several client sectors in which we upwards of 50-80 projects concurrently. At some point, I have eyes on or will need to review all projects prior to stamp & signature. It would be a benefit to be able to group project sessions together that fall under a particular client for ease of navigation for those that must review or sometime track progress in real time. I won't say this is a must have, but nice-to-have.
Re: Edit/Unlock markups in Studio Sessions
Hi @Alan A.,
The general process for a review is as follows:
- Contractor submits drawings and reports to us for review (we are the client)
- The Review Lead creates a Studio Session, prepares all the documents with the required custom columns, statuses, and invites all the reviewers (up to 50 reviewers depending on the project)
- The reviewers then have 2 weeks to go through and make comments. Comments are made by adding markups (usually callouts or cloud+).
- After the 2 week review period, the Review Lead reviews everyones comments. Review lead might need to edit comments for the below reasons:
- Any time 2 reviewers have made duplicate comments one is deleted (or they are consolidated into one comment).
- If a reviewer has put incorrect data into the custom columns or has missed putting data in the custom columns the Review Lead needs to add it.
- If a reviewer has made a comment that does not comply with project deed then it would be removed.
- If a reviewers comment is unclear or needs more information to be understood, it would be edited by the Review Lead.
- Probably more reasons I can't think of right now.
- The Review Lead would then invite the contractor in the Studio Session to reply to comments.
We as the Client want our feedback to be clear, concise and provide value to the project. We also don't want to provide conflicting information. So the job of the Review Lead is very important in ensuring that all of our comments are collated well.
Re: Is there any way to create custom Line end and line starts?
Hi, Luke -
I apologize for the delayed response. I upgraded to Core because I wanted some of its other features, like angle calculation. Importing your .blx file was no problem and now I have your sketchy line :-). I'll review the video link again and hopefully I'll be able to create the other linetypes that I need. Thanks so much for your help!
Best, Nancy
Re: Mac Support
I would like to add to the sentiment of the group, but on behalf of 32 total users in a professional environment. We also use Archicad, and just recently switched to Revu since Acrobat was no longer meeting our needs to handle complex and large PDF files. We only have Parallels on Mac to run Bluebeam. The main reason I'm posting is because I have reached a dead end with tech support - all because we are working in an "unsupported environment". It seems this environment is a product of Bluebeam's decision to not support Mac. We are at a fork in the road now: continue with Revu and be frustrated with usability issues, or find another software.

Re: Have you used the new Label feature that lets you put any Markup List Column data?
Is there a way to make a custom column that just sequentially gets larger with every new markup? 1,2,3,4 etc…
Re: Is there any way to create custom Line end and line starts?
Well that stinks. Can you "Open" this file and see if it will load the "Sketchy" line type I exported.
If this works, then you can at least ask the community to make any custom line style you need or import them from websites.
Re: Kolommen Toolchest aan- en uitzetten
Translation from Dutch…
Turn Toolchest Columns On and Off - Columns you don't use in the ToolChest can be turned off by "Note" and not visible to save screen space while working with drawings.
Re: Edit/Unlock markups in Studio Sessions
I'd like this simply because sometimes the mark up has a typo or references the wrong thing.
