Re: 🗓️ August 2024 Challenge - Custom & Favorite Tool Sets!
@Peter Noyes the challenge is that most of us are accustom to using symbols and SVG files are often overly graphic. But maybe something that is easier to explain would be door types and powered access.
Is the door flush, full lite, half lite, or vision panel?
Is the access device battery-operated or wired, RFD or keypad, maybe it's a card reader, etc?
Landscape plans would be another possible use.
Signage (Indoor and Outdoor) is another place where they might be useful.
Re: Leave Bluebeam Cloud Alone?
@RayZ, while there isn't a specific "Punch" feature in Studio Sessions, you can still add punch-like markups directly from a Session on iOS. Currently, iOS users can choose from 11 types of markups, including those with status indicators. For Android, you can add rectangle markups, with more options coming soon as we continue to enhance the platform.
These features will be improved over the coming months to offer more customization options. Once your markups are created, you can generate a detailed report using Batch Summaries in Revu.
If you're having trouble creating markups or assigning statuses on iOS (v1.16) or adding rectangles on Android (v1.3), please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email us at support@bluebeam.com or send me a direct message, and I’d be happy to set up a call to assist you further.

Re: 🗓️ August 2024 Challenge - Custom & Favorite Tool Sets!
@Luke Shiras I have been experimenting with converting SVG to Tool Sets which is how I created that tool set. It still isn't perfect, there are a few emojis that glitch. Curious if you can think of other use cases where an SVG import would be useful.

Re: Mac Support
Hi @Bob Caine,
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your concerns.
Bluebeam Cloud is here to stay. While we are retiring the Cloud Projects feature, including punch and field tools, Bluebeam Cloud is not going away. Our web and mobile solutions will continue to be enhanced to provide value to users without Revu, ensuring they can easily access and work with their drawings.
We appreciate your candid feedback and value your business. Please feel free to reach out with any other concerns or questions.

📢 The Future of Bluebeam Cloud ☁️
Hi everyone!
We thought the community forum would be a good place to share our upcoming plans for Bluebeam Cloud.
Our web and mobile solutions have been evolving over the past few years. Now, with the latest technologies, we're excited to bring Studio capabilities to Bluebeam Cloud. This means that Studio Sessions, Studio Projects, and Revu markups will be available across the Bluebeam ecosystem, enhancing productivity and giving you the flexibility to take Bluebeam anywhere.
In June, we launched Studio Sessions on the web, letting you collaborate without needing to download Revu. In July, we rolled out Studio Sessions on iOS and introduced limited markup on Android (with more features coming this year and into next).
Soon, we’ll be releasing Studio Projects on the web, followed by iOS and then Android. This will allow your team to work on the same drawings, specs, and PDFs from any platform, whether in the field or the office. Each platform will have access to markup tools, with more being added regularly.
Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to introduce the Tool Chest on iOS and Android, giving you easy access to your favorite symbols and commenting tools while you’re out in the field.
With Studio capabilities available today, you can easily share files and let web and mobile users create punch items right away. Start by creating a Studio Session, uploading a floor plan, and inviting people from Revu or the web. Attendees can add markups, assign statuses, or leave comments from any platform. You can also generate detailed reports using Batch Summaries in Revu. For a full walkthrough, check out this video:
Our goal is to bring your teams together on the same set of drawings, in Sessions or Projects, with access to the tools you rely on, regardless of the preferred platform. We’re just getting started on this journey, and we appreciate your feedback as we build the future of Bluebeam Cloud.
Best regards,

Re: BlueBeam Studio - Master User
I would add that we would also like the ability to restrict users not by individual email address but by domain, so that internal users would be able to join a session easily, but external users would have to be permitted or invited to join
Re: Reallow entry to a Session
To my knowledge no. I had a New Zealand client ask me this question last week.
BUT! I don't feel that I should have the final word. There could be a clever workaround that enables the Denied user to re-enter.
The ideal situation is that if an Admin invites them, that will negate any previous denials. I could be wrong, but I think that this is a feature request.
Good luck and I will be watching this space 🙄
Re: Bluebeam Cloud needs to stay
Totally agree. They've apparently already turned off the ability to create new projects, or even send inquiries for help. Cloud was a major reason why I signed up for Bluebeam and now I'm reconsidering going back to Adobe.
Re: BlueBeam Studio - Master User
I agree with @Duane Gingras with the options presented. This would greatly expand the capabilities of the Studio Sessions and provide the flexibility that I have had hundreds of users ask for.
