Re: Edit/Unlock markups in Studio Sessions
Yes please!!! My entire firm would LOVE to have this ability. There are times were we use Studio Sessions internally, and it would be AMAZING to have the ability to edit each others markups. As Troy said, making this an option that the Session owner can enable or disable would be ideal. There are already permissions setup for Session members, so perhaps adding the ability to edit ALL markups could be added to these permissions.
Re: Not able to see last login details in Export to Excel report
Hi @Jaideo & @rbre_Aarsleff
Can I please ask you both to clear your browser's cache and try to export the file one more time? This was a known issue but it has now been fixed for non-US servers.
If you are still seeing an empty column, can you please use the form below to reach out to our Technical support team? They will be able to investigate and get back to you ASAP.
Why do you want to edit other users' comments?
Everyone seems to want the option to edit others' comments in Studio Session, it even came up in our BUG webinar yesterday. I understand that there are reasons for the current setup (legacy code, accountability, comment history, etc) but there may be other solutions Bluebeam can implement easier than unlocking comments. So what I (a fellow user) want to know is - Why?
What kind of edits do you need to make? Spelling errors, incorrect references, poor wording? Or do you have that one person who reveals their ignorance every time they comment? 🤪
Why do you want the ability to edit other users' comments?
Ignore
I haven't been on a lot of forums, and started this discussion while attempting to comment on a different post. My mistake!
But, incase you're reading this: Do you know you can create custom tools for takeoffs? Bluebeam Extreme also allows you to link those tools to an Excel spreadsheet, meaning your quantity cells auto-populate as you do your takeoffs.
Pretty cool! 👌

Re: ✴️ Experience using the Tool Chest?
We use tool chests for different departments and job titles. Some job titles use multiple different tool chests. For example, we are a joist and deck company, so our Estimators have both a "Joist" tool chest with joist tools and a "Deck" tool chest for deck tools. It's mostly a positive experience. One critical feedback item is the lack of storing layer "Group" info in a given tool. So, for example, when our Estimators are adding markups to the file, we like those markups to be under the "Sales" - "Estimator" layer groups. However, the tool in the tool chest only stores which layer it's on, not the parent groups. Can this be added?
Re: Bug? Bluebeam Hijacks my Windows File Explorer Window
I have had this problem for years on all of my machines. It is infuriating.
Re: Is there any way to open Australian Standards from SAI Global in Bluebeam?
Thanks Luke and Shan, keen to test it out.
Re: Roundup in Custom Columns
Ahh… sorry I misunderstood that! To round up to the nearest EVEN number, do the following:
ceiling(Width * 0.5) * 2

Re: Is there any way to open Australian Standards from SAI Global in Bluebeam?
Let me check with SAI and Bluebeam Product; this has been in the works and will be included in an update.
I will confirm if it will be in the next Bluebeam Revu release.
If any of the product teams have updates, please share.
Re: Is there any way to open Australian Standards from SAI Global in Bluebeam?
Thanks, Shan and Colby…
We've made some updates to this that are included in Revu 21.3, which is slated to launch next week. Colby, if you are able to try this file again next week on 21.3, we'd appreciate your feedback. We can also test this file internally before next week if you'd like to DM us the file.
Thanks for posting!
