Re: Question About Printing Functionality in Bluebeam Cloud
Hey @Charlie Harris,
Thanks for raising this! Here's where we are today with Bluebeam Cloud for iOS:
- Printing today – Paid users can already export files and use them in different ways, whether that means storing them elsewhere on the device, attaching them to an email, or sending them to a printer. Right now this works by opening a Studio Project file, tapping the top menu, and selecting Download. In the sheet that pops up, you will see Print as one of the options. Starting in September, you will also be able to do the same with your own local files stored on the device.
- Printing without markups – Your request about printing without markups is a good one. Many users want the flexibility to filter information so they can share only what matters. Sometimes that means no markups at all, but often it is just a subset that tells a specific story such as punch items, RFIs, or installed quantities. We plan to introduce markup filtering in 2026, and once that is available you will be able to filter markups down to exactly what you want to show and then use Download → Print while in that state.
Our current focus is making sure users can reliably access files in the field, mark them up, and save changes back where they need to go. Feedback like this helps us shape what comes next, so thank you for sharing. If printing with or without markups is a critical workflow for your team, I would be glad to learn more. Feel free to DM me if you would like to set up a deeper conversation with our mobile team.

Fire Alarm Markups for Tool Chests
BlueBeam Community
I just transitioned to a new Fire & Life Safety company in the recent days. By any chance, would anyone be willing to share fire alarm set for my tool chest on BlueBeam? Or provide me with a good site to download a few good fire alarm tool chests.
Re: Bluebeam Cloud
Hi @CLane,
Thanks for your feedback. In September, we’re adding the ability to open files stored in other apps on your device, make markups, and save changes. For OneDrive, you’ll just need to sync files for offline availability first, then you can open and edit them in Bluebeam. The read/write permission will depend on the provider.
Right now our focus is on field-first workflows. That means your office will continue preparing files ahead of time, and in the field you and your team can reliably access those files offline and add new markups. We are not rebuilding Revu for iPad feature by feature or bringing every Revu capability into mobile. Our priority is on mobile-specific needs like offline access and markup tools, ahead of more office-based workflows.
Markup filtering by layer is on our 2026 roadmap and we know how valuable it will be for work like yours. We’ll also be sharing an update soon on the mobile roadmap and how we plan to continue moving toward workflow parity with Revu for iPad.

THANK YOU MATT!!! I never thought of using Studio in this way - and it it so helpful that you shared your data! Really appreciate it!

You can do this by using a temporary scaled toolchest - I shared this a couple of years ago https://youtu.be/RxM2ezyGpis
