Hi @Matias Leinikka! Thanks for sharing your thoughts—it’s completely valid to feel disappointed. Revu for iPad hasn’t seen meaningful updates in a long time, and that’s something we’ve been aware of. The reality is, its architecture simply couldn’t support the kinds of improvements people have been asking for. That’s why we made the decision to invest in building something new.

We’ll be the first to admit that Bluebeam Cloud didn’t start off the right way. It launched as a separate, disconnected product, and that caused confusion and frustration. Over the past year, we’ve taken steps to correct that—retiring Field Tools and Cloud Projects, and shifting our focus toward unifying Bluebeam across platforms with Studio at the center.

Now, the mobile app is finally being built on a foundation that can support the future. We’re bringing back familiar capabilities from Revu for iPad—like markups, measurements, and offline file access—with a cleaner interface, better performance, and more room to grow. The goal is not just to catch up, but to create something more powerful and reliable for mobile users moving forward.

We know it’s been a long wait, and we appreciate you sticking with us. Your feedback helps shape the direction we’re taking, and we hope you’ll give the new mobile experience a try as it continues to evolve.

Thank you for addressing this comment. Based on the review comments in the App Store, crashing has been a problem for over a year for the Bluebeam Cloud app. Functional and performance gaps have been a consistent characteristic of other Bluebeam apps. It is rather surprising that your software team would migrate your three million person user base to yet another new app with significant ongoing known performance and functionality problems.

Well… I for one am excited to see how this goes. I personally don't think any mobile experience has been that great and have said for a little while now that I wished Bluebeam would focus its mobile efforts on creating one great app instead of several just "good enough" apps. Will there be any form of community-based beta testing needed for any of this development?

Edit: I see many people are acting as though they are being blindsided when in fact they have nearly 9 months of support left, plus any additional time they can get out of their app while it's in this discontinued state. I feel like that could be plenty of time to iron out some of the Bluebeam for mobile issues presented here so far. I could be completely off base here, but this sort of thing is kind of just how mobile apps are. They can't be endlessly updated without eventually requiring a complete overhaul to keep up with current technological standards. Even super long running apps like Youtube and Facebook have been through these same growing pains. I remember how confusing it was to see that there was a "different" Facebook app, when they switched it up years ago. It isn't pleasant for the user to adjust every time, but it's often actually a good sign when a developer sees the need to start a completely new app. It's a sign of longevity and forecasted growth, IMO.

So Sad. Been trying to convert to the cloud but so much of what I've built for Revu doesn't work on the cloud so I stay with the iPad app where it works.

Disappointing day for me and I am truly just baffled at this point.😒😕😥🤦

What are you doing Bluebeam, why would you take it away before giving us something to test out like any other time you have something new. I am not understanding how this makes sense.

So when is the new app going to be ready for us to use then since the cut off date has already been set.

I mirror Liz's sentiment. We are very reliant on Revu for iPad and the use of Projects to access files from anywhere. The check out and check in process is ideal. I do hope that prior to retiring this app their is a solid app replacement in place. I don't want to have to explore alternatives as we have invested money, time, and training into making Bluebeam our choice for the past 11-13 years.

For an app to be viable, we need fillable forms, toolsets that are more comprehensive then the tools included with Cloud, and access to files from anywhere. Revu for iPad checked all those boxes.

I am excited to see what y'all come up with and would be happy to test!!
