Re: Add Individual Markup Status in Toolbar
Edited my response as I misunderstood the request as well.
I remember hearing talk that status short cuts were on their way.
Re: Offset measurement for excavation
I'm on R20 so haven't used it myself but from the link…
How to multiply a markup
Before you begin, you must calibrate the scale of your drawing.
- Create your markup or measurement.
- Right-click the markup, and select Multiply.
- Choose the direction you want to place the copies.
- Enter the distance between the copies, and choose the unit of measurement.
- Enter the number of copies you want to create.
- Select OK.
Re: Counting the counter
This sounds like something a status or checkmark could do, you can customize the status to say any words you like I just used the default Migration Model for the status. In this example the red triangles are confirmed, the green check marks are not. You can also set you status to change color so if you status your red triangle to confirmed it could auto change to another color.
Re: BACKGROUND TEXTBOX COLOR FILTERING
Just adding my voice here, like @Luke Shiras and @Shanoc Halliday Bluebeam , Statuses ware the way to go here. you then have access to all the filtering you want and you can have a color change on status (to maintain consistency with your users you are habituated with what the colors mean).
Re: Remote Use of Revu and Connection to Servers on Tablets
I haven't explored the use of Bluebeam cloud in the field, however this sould do the trick. Bluebeam has added a "Project" space to the Cloud that runs independently of Studio Projects (following the Microsoft philosophy of giving similar names to things that aren't the same…).
However this would require you working with your documents from start to finish in the cloud space. The upside is that it's device agnostic, you can sign in from any device and start working. The interface is also geared towards collaborative markups (text and simple shapes) versus a full library with more complexe shapes and lines. This is good as it streamlines how people interact with the drawings. This is also not good if your interaction requires more than simple shapes. You still have folder structures to organize your drawings, and all your reviews and comments would now be contained to the 'Project XXX'.
For now you can export all the data (to Studio Projects or other) which tells me they will have syncing between Cloud Projects and Studio Projects in the near future (this will allow the desktop app to be used)
And finally, the cloud does require internet/data all the time, there is no offline mode. I hope i understood your questions correctly.
Re: Is it possible to mix text styles within a single sticky note?
For now the Markup list doesn't show formatting. I could potentially see this of use with the markup list reports, retaining the formatting when the report is generated. At this time though I have not had that requirement myself.
@Sarah, If the text is important enough to need formating, why are you using a Note which has reduced visibility on the document? Typically i encourage people to make their markups visible and the post it note is something I actively discourage using as people (of various usability levels) tend to overlook the Note (also same reason why i don't encourage the use of the 'Reply' feature right now as people don't consistently use the markup list).
Re: 📢 New exclusive group for Bluebeam Certified Professionals!
There should be an Honoray Certificate for those of with 15+ years of Bluebeam use….
Re: Is it possible to mix text styles within a single sticky note?
Yes! There is an option in the preferences Interface → Markups List → Use Rich Text for Comments

Re: BACKGROUND TEXTBOX COLOR FILTERING
I am doubling down on "Status" its a great feature, it can be filtered, you can save pre-set filters in Complete and then easy to create a report based on the Subject name and Status state. And with Studio Sessions on the Web and soon to be on your mobile devices, it will get even easier to use. I have a client that used this for roof inspections. Here is a link to their case study -
