Re: 📢 Tell us how YOU want to engage in 2025!
I want to hear from the Bluebeam developers how they plan to incorporate user feedback and product ideas that have been submitted by the Bluebeam Community.
Re: Hide markups by individual
@Marco M I agree with jdickeson. Filtering only fades the markups yet they are still able to be grabbed and moved. If there are a lot of markups (Which there typically would be if someone wants to hide them), then it is hard to navigate around the PDF without accidentally grabbing a faded markup, which in turn un-filters that specific markup.
Hiding layers seem to work okay, but that is not available in a Studio Session. I also don't want to have to assign a layer to every markup.
Also, if I hide all markups, then any new markups will be automatically hidden, which is not ideal either.
It seems intuitive that there could be an option to hide a specific markup in the markups list. Or select several markups and right-click —> Hide.
Hide markups by individual
Include in the ability to hide markups a way to hide an select individual(s) and still be able to add markups. Currently it's hide all or hide none, without the ability to hide an individuals comments we have to turn everyones off to review the document then back on to add a new one.
Re: Set circle to a specific radius or diametre?
or take a radius/diameter measurement
simply double click on the text of the measurement. You get a box with the measurement. Click on the value and change it to the radius you want to obtain. close the box and magic happens.
or as mention by Jes, use the Sketch function to define from scratch the radius.
Re: What's new in the Revu 21.5 version?
Thank you for your comment.
It was a very informative article.
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
So, seeing the chat above about Bluebeam being used with Power Query in Excel, I thought I'd do another quick video demonstrating one of the workflows that I use regularly and which I demonstrated at the London BUG.
This just shows how one markup in Bluebeam can be changed into an endless amount of information in Excel.
Hopefully, this will give a few people ideas for upgrading their workflows!
Re: Keep highlighter from switching to text icon
Uncheck 'Enable Text Highlighting' in the Window Preferences. That will keep it from highlighting the text.
See this feature highlight for more about Highlighting: Feature Highlight - Highlighter Tool
Re: 🗓️ March 2025 Challenge - Markup Madness!
I'm almost 4 years into it and still learning.
You can do quite a lot with the UI, but it gets even more powerful when you start to learn the M code
Re: Keep highlighter from switching to text icon
It is funny how that works - so sensitive.
When holding CTRL, and BB still wants to highlight text, Release CTRL and move the mouse out of that part of the sheet, then click it to start the highlight once the icon changes back.
It is a work around, I know. Your highlights will have "tails," but it works when you do not want to auto highlight lines of text.
