Re: configurable control point size
Thank you for the 'callout' Angela.
Blessings to you on this day.

Re: "Add a bookmark" not available
There are various states that will grey out some of your tools. Security is one as @Luke Shiras has pointed out. A signed document will also do this and if the PDF is archival (PDF/A). There is a fourth state that is unknown to me still as I only see it once or twice a year, the file is greyed out for no apparent reason and only a rebiuld will fix it. You can access two of the four scenarios:
- Turn off restrict changes
2. Remove Open PDF/A as locked
3. There is no appropriate solution to a password protected file. PDFs have a user/owner password combination. A user level password can typically be broken. An owner level password can not (in a reasonable time frame).
4. Unknown condition. Rebuild if source documents are available (best). Try to creats a new PDF from that file (sometimes works). and Finally print to PDF to generate an image duplicate, then OCR it if need be (worst option).
Re: Revu Window Size Issue
It's not exactly clear what the student is referring to. I work with Bluebeam and other apps in windowed or fullscreen. I've never seen the window grow (when in windowed mode) with multiple re-opens. When they say Status bar, do they mean the status bar in blubeam? Or do they mean the Taskbar of their OS? If they mean Bluebeam, then do they have a floating window detached from Bluebeam yet floating over bluebeam? Like this? (the floating window is covering my main bluebeam status bar):
While i have briefly run a floating window over Bluebeam main app, it's only long enough to drag it to another screen. Otherwise I run split view. There is no other way they could block their status bar in bluebeam unless they float a window over it. If you restart bluebeam all files start attached. So this description is unclear.
If they mean windowed mode and it's occluding their taskbar then that's not possible since taskbars take priority (unless they have their taskbar set to autohide, then maybe they might mistake it for blocking). Like below my instance of bluebeam is now behind my taskbar.
If it's an issue of the instance of Bluebeam slowly growing in size, then I'd ask if this is happening to other applicaitons. If it's specific to Bluebeam (and specific to the student it seems) then the easiest first step is for the student to reset their install. Profiles, over time, can do odd things and in my experience if someone has large cumbersome toolsets this can also be a contributor to poor performance. I've never seen a 'growing window' problem though. Best first step is always: ctrl+k > Admin > Reset. if the problem clears up then it's something that's accumulated in your profile or tools.
Re: Revu Window Size Issue
Never heard of that happening but I am curious what the cause/solution is.
Re: configurable control point size
@kwatson :Just chiming in here to say thank you for sharing your personal story as to why having the ability to change the size of control points would be an improved experience for you. Although the team can’t make any promises and accommodate all feature requests, it’s extremely beneficial to know the human element behind an ask. Thanks for being you, Kilian.
My Groups
I thought there was a bit of friction to find my home BUG within the Community site since I didn't see it listed anywhere for quick access until I saw the Quick Links > Groups button takes you to a new page with your groups listed at the top. Since the Quick Links are on every page, I decided to change my question into a discussion topic in case anyone else had the same thought.
I wonder if it would be worth it to add a list of your groups at the top of the Bluebeam User Groups page? That would fit Bluebeam's status quo of having several ways to find the same tool like in Revu.
Re: Edit time limit
Hey @Luke Shiras ! We just updated the editing time limit to one week. This may be a tad too long and we may shorten the time in the future, but hopefully this helps :)
Re: configurable control point size
It would help to increase Bluebeam's accessibility for users who may be compromised visually or with fine motor skills.
An increase in the control point size will allow users who aren't too accurate to increase their usability.
As a Multiple Sclerosis patient, i lack fine motor skills & have a visual impairment that can hinder my performance as the day wears on.
many thanks.

Edit time limit
I'm not sure it matters but can the time limit to edit comments be extended?
Generally, 24 hours is enough but I want to clean up my "introduce yourself" post but the time has passed. Other times I need to fix a typo and may not notice it until the next day.
Thoughts?
